Binary Nonlinearization of the Super Akns System Under an Implicit Symmetry Constraint

For the super AKNS system, an implicit symmetry constraint between the potentials and the eigenfunctions is proposed. After introducing some new variables to explicitly express potentials, the super AKNS system is decomposed into two compatible finite-dimensional super systems (x-part and tnt_n-part). Furthermore, we show that the obtained super systems are integrable super Hamiltonian systems in supersymmetry manifold R4N+22N+2\mathbb{R}^{4N+2|2N+2}.Comment: 10 pages, 5 figures, to appear in Journal of Physics

As a universal workplace phenomenon, the impact of work-related rumination on job performance is attracting scholars’ attention. In the current study, the relationship between two types of work-related rumination, counterproductive behavior, and creativity at work were examined, as well as the mechanism of this association. Participants were 1109 employees from a variety of jobs in mainland China. The results showed that affective rumination was negatively associated with employees’ work creativity and positively associated with counterproductive behavior. On the contrary, problem-solving pondering was positively related to creativity and negatively related to counterproductive behavior. The loss of self-control resource partially mediated the link between affective rumination and counterproductive behavior. Problem-solving pondering had no significant impact on self-control resource. Results suggest the significant effects of problem-solving pondering may be positive in the workplace and clarify the self-control resource is the internal mechanism linking rumination and job performance

Regional Finance and Regional Disparities in China

China’s growth has been spectacularly high and persistent over the last few decades. However, there have been regular expressions of concern about the uneven distribution of the benefits across regions and, at times, it has been asserted that the regional distribution of available investment funds has played an important role – national financial institutions (mainly state-owned banks) have redirected deposits from the inland to loans to large institutions in the more prosperous coastal regions. At the same time, smaller regionally-focussed institutions are likely to improve the distribution of funds. We use a panel data set disaggregated by province for the years 1986 to 2004 to test these propositions. We employ recent panel unit roots and cointegration tests using data for state-owned bank loans as well as loans by rural credit cooperatives. We find that financial disparities are related to output disparities, that this relationship is positive, that it is stronger for rural credit cooperatives than for state-owned banks and that this relationship is causal in both the long and short runs. A reduction in financial disparities can be expected to lead a narrowing of output disparities in the short run and in the long run with the effect being larger for rural credit cooperatives than for state-owned commercial banks.regional disparities, panel econometrics, regional finance, China
