    Quasinormal Modes and Hidden Conformal Symmetry of Warped dS3_3 Black Hole

    In this paper, we analytically calculate the quasinormal modes of scalar, vector, tensor, and spinor perturbations of the warped dS3_3 black hole. There are two horizons for the warped dS3_3 black hole, namely, the black hole horizon rbr_b and the cosmological horizon rcr_c. In the calculation, we impose the ingoing boundary condition at the black hole horizon and the outgoing boundary condition at the cosmological horizon. We also investigate the hidden conformal symmetry of the warped dS3_3 black hole in the region between the black hole horizon and the cosmological horizon rb<r<rcr_b<r<r_c. We use the hidden conformal symmetry to construct the quasinormal modes in an algebraic way and find that the results agree with the analytically ones. It turns out that the frequencies of the quasinormal modes could be identified with the poles in the thermal boundary-boundary correlators.Comment: 26 pages, references added, published versio

    Aspects of Warped AdS3_3/CFT2_2 Correspondence

    In this paper we apply the thermodynamics method to investigate the holographic pictures for the BTZ black hole, the spacelike and the null warped black holes in three-dimensional topologically massive gravity (TMG) and new massive gravity (NMG). Even though there are higher derivative terms in these theories, the thermodynamics method is still effective. It gives consistent results with the ones obtained by using asymptotical symmetry group (ASG) analysis. In doing the ASG analysis we develop a brute-force realization of the Barnich-Brandt-Compere formalism with Mathematica code, which also allows us to calculate the masses and the angular momenta of the black holes. In particular, we propose the warped AdS3_3/CFT2_2 correspondence in the new massive gravity, which states that quantum gravity in the warped spacetime could holographically dual to a two-dimensional CFT with c_R=c_L=\f{24}{Gm\b^2\sr{2(21-4\b^2)}}.Comment: 22 pages, references added, published version, link of Mathematica code changed to https://s.yunio.com/Mtus0z or http://pan.baidu.com/s/1mToF

    Effects of Yinchenhao Decoction () for Non-alcoholic Steatohepatitis in Rats and Study of the Mechanism

    ObjectiveTo observe the effects of Yinchenhao Decoction () for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) in rats and study the mechanism.MethodsTotal 18 male SD rats were randomly divided into a normal control group, a model group and a treatment group, 6 rats in each group. Rats in the model and treatment groups were fed with high-fat forage for 10 weeks to prepare the NASH model, and the rats in the treatment group were administrated with Yinchenhao Decoction from the 6th week for 5 weeks. All rats were sacrificed at the end of the10th week and the samples were collected. Serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) activity, tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) level, and hepatic triglyceride (TG) and free fatty acid (FFA) contents were determined. Hepatic pathological changes were detected by HE staining.ResultsSerum ALT activity, TNF-α level, hepatic TG and FFA contents, and the fatty deposition in hepatocytes were significantly reduced in the rats of the treatment group.ConclusionYinchenhao Decoction has good therapeutic effects for NASH, protecting the liver function and reducing the fatty deposition in liver, which are possibly related with reduction of FFA content and inhibition of TNF-α expression

    INTRODUCTION: Body fat content can be determined by Hydrostatic weighing method and skin fold measurement. The former is the most accurate and is thought as “golden Standard”, while the later is an easy and simple way. Measurement of body fat content using skin fold method is by calculation based on the measured skin fold. But the formulas used to calculate body fat content were developed based on the studies in foreigners. We hypothesized that there was significant difference in the body fat content of Chinese determined by hydrostatic weighing and skin fold methods in which the formula was from the studies in foreigners. The formula developed based on the study in foreigners might not be suitable in the determination of body fat content in Chinese
