Demonstration of the double Q^2-rescaling model
In this paper we have demonstrated the double Q^2-rescaling model (DQ^2RM) of
parton distribution functions of nucleon bounded in nucleus. With different
x-region of l-A deep inelastic scattering process we take different approach:
in high x-region (0.1\le x\le 0.7) we use the distorted QCD vacuum model which
resulted from topologically multi -connected domain vacuum structure of
nucleus; in low x-region (10^{-4}\le x\le10^{-3}) we adopt the Glauber
(Mueller) multi- scattering formula for gluon coherently rescattering in
nucleus. From these two approach we justified the rescaling parton distribution
functions in bound nucleon are in agreement well with those we got from DQ^2RM,
thus the validity for this phenomenologically model are demonstrated.Comment: 19 page, RevTex, 5 figures in postscrip
diffractive production in the direct photon process at HERA
We present a study of diffractive production in the direct
photon process at HERA based on the factorization theorem for lepton-induced
hard diffractive scattering and the factorization formalism of the
nonrelativistic QCD (NRQCD) for quarkonia production. Using the diffractive
gluon distribution function extracted from HERA data on diffractive deep
inelastic scattering and diffractive dijet photon production, we show that this
process can be studied at HERA with present integrated luminosity, and can give
valuable insights in the color-octet mechanism for heavy quarkonia production.Comment: Revtex, 21 pages, 7 EPS figure
Fixed points for weakly inward mappings in Banach spaces
AbstractS. Hu and Y. Sun [S. Hu, Y. Sun, Fixed point index for weakly inward mappings, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 172 (1993) 266–273] defined the fixed point index for weakly inward mappings, investigated its properties and studied the fixed points for such mappings. In this paper, following S. Hu and Y. Sun, we continue to investigate boundary conditions, under which the fixed point index for the completely continuous and weakly inward mapping, denoted by i(A,Ω,P), is equal to 1 or 0. Correspondingly, we can obtain some new fixed point theorems of the completely continuous and weakly inward mappings and existence theorems of solutions for the equations Ax=μx, which extend many famous theorems such as Leray–Schauder's theorem, Rothe's two theorems, Krasnoselskii's theorem, Altman's theorem, Petryshyn's theorem, etc., to the case of weakly inward mappings. In addition, our conclusions and methods are different from the ones in many recent works
Iron(II)-Catalyzed Intermolecular Amino-Oxygenation of Olefins through the N−O Bond Cleavage of Functionalized Hydroxylamines
An iron-catalyzed diastereoselective intermolecular olefin amino-oxygenation reaction is reported, which proceeds via an iron-nitrenoid generated by the N− O bond cleavage of a functionalized hydroxylamine. In this reaction, a bench-stable hydroxylamine derivative is used as the amination reagent and oxidant. This method tolerates a range of synthetically valuable substrates that have been all incompatible with existing amino-oxygenation methods. It can also provide amino alcohol derivatives with regio- and stereochemical arrays complementary to known amino-oxygenation methods
Poly[chlorido[μ4-2,2′-(2-methyl-1H-benzimidazol-3-ium-1,3-diyl)diacetato]zinc]
The title compound, [Zn(C12H11N2O4)Cl]n, contains a centrosymmetric dimetal tetracarboxylate paddle-wheel moiety in which the ZnII atom is square-pyramidally coordinated by four carboxylate O atoms at the basal positions and one Cl− anion at the apical position. Each paddle-wheel unit is joined to four such neighbours through bridging dicarboxylate ligands, producing a two-dimensional undulating layer parallel to (-101). Adjacent sheets are stacked in a parallel fashion to form a three-dimensional supramolecular structure which is stabilized by interlayer π–π interactions between benzene rings, with a centroid–centroid distance of 3.722 Å. The range of Zn—O bond lengths is 2.0440 (17)–2.1256 (15) Å and the Zn—Cl bond length is 2.2622 (6) Å
Xiaoyaosan Decoction, a Traditional Chinese Medicine, Inhibits Oxidative-Stress-Induced Hippocampus Neuron Apoptosis In Vitro
Xiaoyaosan (XYS) decoction is a famous prescription for the treatment of mental disorders in China. In this experiment, we explored the way in which XYS decoction-reverse hippocampus neuron apoptosis in vitro. We used XYS decoction-containing serum to treat oxidative-stress-induced hippocampus neuron apoptosis and used immunofluorescence to determine the concentration of free calcium, mitochondrial membrane potential, and apoptotic rate of neuron. Results showed that 3-hour oxidative stress decrease mitochondrial membrane potential, increase the concentration of free calcium and apoptotic rate of neuron via triggering pathological changes of nucleus such as karyorrhexis, karyopyknosis. Low, medium, high dose of XYS-decoction-containing serum could reverse these phenomenon, and the effect of low-dose XYS-decoction-containing serum was significant in improving mitochondrial membrane potential and apoptotic rate of neuron. These findings suggest that XYS decoction may be helpful in reducing oxidative-stress-induced hippocampus neuron apoptosis
