Not AvailablePrecise estimate on grasslands area, extent and conditions, forage and production can be generated with the help of remotely sensed satellite data, Geographical lnformation System (GlS) and Global position System (GPS). ln the present study of Kangra valley of Himachal Pradesh, lndia was found that about 12.3g% area was under grasslands.
