Probability Measures and projections on Quantum Logics
The present paper is devoted to modelling of a probability measure of logical
connectives on a quantum logic (QL), via a -map, which is a special map on
it. We follow the work in which the probability of logical conjunction,
disjunction and symmetric difference and their negations for non-compatible
propositions are studied.
We study such a -map on quantum logics, which is a probability measure
of a projection and show, that unlike classical (Boolean) logic, probability
measure of projections on a quantum logic are not necessarilly pure
projections.
We compare properties of a -map on QLs with properties of a probability
measure related to logical connectives on a Boolean algebra
The Ultimate Solution to the Quantum Battle of the Sexes game
We present the unique solution to the Quantum Battle of the Sexes game. We
show the best result which can be reached when the game is played according to
Marinatto and Weber's scheme. The result which we put forward does not
surrender the criticism of previous works on the same topic.Comment: 8 page
How to play two-players restricted quantum games with 10 cards
We show that it is perfectly possible to play 'restricted' two-players,
two-strategies quantum games proposed originally by Marinatto and Weber having
as the only equipment a pack of 10 cards. The 'quantum board' of such a model
of these quantum games is an extreme simplification of 'macroscopic quantum
machines' proposed by one of the authors in numerous papers that allow to
simulate by macroscopic means various experiments performed on two entangled
quantum objectsComment: 4 pages, 3 figure
Dielectric Properties of the (CHNH)BiSbCl Mixed Crystals
The (CHNH)BiSbCl crystals were examined from the point of view of their applicability in pyroelectric detectors. It was shown that they can be useful so far as the construction of infrared detectors is concerned due to high values of both their pyroelectric coefficient and figure of merit p/sqrtε which are both comparable with those of triglycine sulphate crystals
