Purpose: identification of tendencies of development of incidence of a neurosyphilis and structures of clinical forms of a late neurosyphilis in Altai Territory. Material and Methods. Materials of forms of the state statistical overseeing of 1999-2016 across Altai Territory, official statistical materials of the Department of monitoring, the analysis and strategic development of health care, Federal State Budgetary Institution Central Research and Development Institute of the Organization and Informatization of Health Care, contemporary records of medical institutions of Altai Territory are analysed. Results. The carried-out retrospective analysis of incidence of a lues in Altai Territory for the 18-year period of observations revealed tendencies to decrease in primary incidence of a lues with simultaneous increase in structure of late forms, including a late neurosyphilis that completely confirmed the model of development of epidemic process constructed earlier by authors. In structure of forms of a late neurosyphilis without symptomless neurosyphilis, symptomless meningitis and meningovascular forms of neurosyphilis came to light more often. Conclusion. The clinical picture of late forms of a neurosyphilis is mainly without symptoms character now. Among demonstrative forms the meningovascular forms as a predictor of cerebrovascular pathology at working-age is registered more often.</p

    Non-Abelian Vortices, Super-Yang-Mills Theory and Spin(7)-Instantons

We consider a complex vector bundle E endowed with a connection A over the eight-dimensional manifold R^2 x G/H, where G/H = SU(3)/U(1)xU(1) is a homogeneous space provided with a never integrable almost complex structure and a family of SU(3)-structures. We establish an equivalence between G-invariant solutions A of the Spin(7)-instanton equations on R^2 x G/H and general solutions of non-Abelian coupled vortex equations on R^2. These vortices are BPS solitons in a d=4 gauge theory obtained from N=1 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory in ten dimensions compactified on the coset space G/H with an SU(3)-structure. The novelty of the obtained vortex equations lies in the fact that Higgs fields, defining morphisms of vector bundles over R^2, are not holomorphic in the generic case. Finally, we introduce BPS vortex equations in N=4 super Yang-Mills theory and show that they have the same feature.Comment: 14 pages; v2: typos fixed, published versio

The article presents information on the state of the oxidation-reduction process in exacerbation of chronic pyelonephritis (CP) in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) type 2. The objective of the study — evaluation of the degree of oxidative stress (OS) and the state of the antioxidant system in patients with exacerbation of chronic pyelonephritis due to DM type 2. Materials and Methods. Under clinical supervision there were 88 patients with CP against DM type 2 background aged from 43 to 80 years. The first group of patients received therapy with lomefloxacin or ceftriaxone, as well as hypoglycemic agents. Another group received antibiotic and glucose-lowering therapy, as combination of canephron H and thiotriazoline. The Results of the Study. In patients with comorbid disorders, CH exacerbation are associated with more significant pro-oxidant processes. Adding to antibiotic and glucose-lowering therapy the combination of canephron H and thiotriazoline increases the efficiency of the treatment process and has a positive effect on the state of oxidation-reduction potential of the body. Conclusions. In blood serum of patients with CP against DM 2 we noted been a sharp increase in the processes of oxidative modification of proteins (MBP). Treatment of patients has a positive effect on the process of biomolecules oxidation, particularly for the induced process, that indicates increased resistance of proteins to peroxidation
