Transition Probability to Turbulent Transport Regime
Transition phenomena between thermal noise state and turbulent state observed
in a submarginal turbulent plasma are analyzed with statistical theory.
Time-development of turbulent fluctuation is obtained by numerical simulations
of Langevin equation which contains hysteresis characteristics. Transition
rates between two states are analyzed. Transition from turbulent state to
thermal noise state occurs in entire region between subcritical bifurcation
point and linear stability boundary.Comment: 9 pages, 6 figures, to be published in Plasma Phys. Control. Fusio
Stochastic Transition between Turbulent Branch and Thermodynamic Branch of an Inhomogeneous Plasma
Transition phenomena between thermodynamic branch and turbulent branch in
submarginal turbulent plasma are analyzed with statistical theory.
Time-development of turbulent fluctuation is obtained by numerical simulations
of Langevin equation which contains submarginal characteristics. Probability
density functions and transition rates between two states are analyzed.
Transition from turbulent branch to thermodynamic branch occurs in almost
entire region between subcritical bifurcation point and linear stability
boundary.Comment: 10 pages, 8 figures, to be published in J. Phys. Soc. Jp
Comment on ``Local dimer-adatom stacking fault structures from 3x3 to 13x13 along Si(111)-7x7 domain boundaries''
Zhao et al. [Phys.Rev.B 58, 13824 (1998)] depicted several atomic structures
of domain boundaries on a Si(111) surface and criticized the article by the
present author and the co-workers. I will point out that their criticism is
incorrect and their structure models have no consistency.Comment: 2 pages. Physical Review B, to appea
Novel Approach to Super Yang-Mills Theory on Lattice - Exact fermionic symmetry and "Ichimatsu" pattern -
We present a lattice theory with an exact fermionic symmetry, which mixes the
link and the fermionic variables. The staggered fermionic variables may be
reconstructed into a Majorana fermion in the continuum limit. The gauge action
has a novel structure. Though it is the ordinary plaquette action, two
different couplings are assigned in the ``Ichimatsu pattern'' or the checkered
pattern. In the naive continuum limit, the fermionic symmetry survives as a
continuum (or an ) symmetry. The transformation of the fermion is
proportional to the field strength multiplied by the difference of the two
gauge couplings in this limit. This work is an extension of our recently
proposed cell model toward the realization of supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory
on lattice.Comment: 26 pages, 4 figure
Staggered Fermion, its Symmetry and Ichimatsu-Patterned Lattice
We investigate exact symmetries of a staggered fermion in D dimensions. The
Dirac operator is reformulated by SO(2D) Clifford algebra. The chiral symmetry,
rotational invariance and parity symmetries are clarified in any dimension.
Local scalar and pseudo-scalar modes are definitely determined, in which we
find non-standard modes. The relation to Ichimatsu-patterned lattice approach
is discussed.Comment: 3 pages, 1 figure, "Talk at Lattice2004(theory), Fermilab, June

Site-selective Cu NMR study of the vortex cores of TlBaCuO
We report site-selective Cu NMR studies of the vortex core states of
an overdoped TlBaCuO with = 85 K. We observed
a relatively high density of low-energy quasi-particle excitations at the
vortex cores in a magnetic field of 7.4847 T along the c axis, in contrast to
YBaCuO.Comment: 5 pages, 6 figures, submitted to J. Phys. Chem. Solids (QuB2006,
