ODE/IM correspondence and the Argyres-Douglas theory
We study the quantum spectral curve of the Argyres-Douglas theories in the
Nekrasov-Sahashvili limit of the Omega-background. Using the ODE/IM
correspondence we investigate the quantum integrable model corresponding to the
quantum spectral curve. We show that the models for the -type theories
are non-unitary coset models at the
fractional level , which appear in the study of the 4d/2d
correspondence of superconformal field theories. Based on the WKB
analysis, we clarify the relation between the Y-functions and the quantum
periods and study the exact Bohr-Sommerfeld quantization condition for the
quantum periods. We also discuss the quantum spectral curves for the D and E
type theories.Comment: 28 pages, 1 figure. Typos corrected, a reference is added. Published

One-instanton calculations in N=2 SU(Nc) Supersymmetric QCD
We study the low-energy effective theory in N=2 SU(Nc) supersymmetric QCD
with Nf =< 2Nc fundamental hypermultiplets in the Coulomb branch by microscopic
and exact approaches. We calculate the one-instanton correction to the modulus
u= from microscopic instanton calculation. We also study the
one-instanton corrections from the exact solutions for Nc=3 with massless
hypermultiplets. They agree with each other except for Nf=2Nc-2 and 2Nc cases.
These differences come from possible ambiguities in the constructions of the
exact solutions or the definitions of the operators in the microscopic
theories.Comment: 13 pages, LaTeX. Minor changes: Some misprints are corrected, and

Lie Superalgebra and Extended Topological Conformal Symmetry in Non-critical Strings
We obtain a new free field realization of super algebra using
the technique of quantum hamiltonian reduction. The construction is based on a
particular choice of the simple root system of the affine Lie superalgebra
associated with a non-standard embedding. After
twisting and a similarity transformation, this algebra can be identified as
the extended topological conformal algebra of non-critical string
theory.Comment: 14pages, UTHEP-27
ODE/IM correspondence and Bethe ansatz for affine Toda field equations
We study the linear problem associated with modified affine Toda field
equation for the Langlands dual , where
is an untwisted affine Lie algebra. The connection
coefficients for the asymptotic solutions of the linear problem are found to
correspond to the -functions for -type quantum integrable
models. The -system for the solutions associated with the fundamental
representations of leads to Bethe ansatz equations associated
with the affine Lie algebra . We also study the
affine Toda field equation in massless limit in detail and find
its Bethe ansatz equations as well as T-Q relations.Comment: 22 page
On the Moduli Space of Noncommutative Multi-solitons at Finite Theta
We study the finite theta correction to the metric of the moduli space of
noncommutative multi-solitons in scalar field theory in (2+1) dimensions. By
solving the equation of motion up to order O(theta^{-2}) explicitly, we show
that the multi-soliton solution must have the same center for a generic
potential term. We examine the condition that the multi-centered configurations
are allowed. Under this condition, we calculate the finite theta correction to
the metric of the moduli space of multi-solitons and argue the possibility of
the non right-angle scattering of two solitons. We also obtain the potential
between two solitons.Comment: 14 pages, LaTe
ODE/IM correspondence and modified affine Toda field equations
We study the two-dimensional affine Toda field equations for affine Lie
algebra modified by a conformal transformation and the
associated linear equations. In the conformal limit, the associated linear
problem reduces to a (pseudo-)differential equation. For classical affine Lie
algebra , we obtain a (pseudo-)differential equation
corresponding to the Bethe equations for the Langlands dual of the Lie algebra
, which were found by Dorey et al. in study of the ODE/IM
correspondence.Comment: 29 pages; added references and note, fixed typos, minor rewritin
Hamiltonian Reduction and Topological Conformal Algebra in Non-critical Strings
We study the hamiltonian reduction of affine Lie superalgebra
. Based on a scalar Lax operator formalism, we derive the free
field realization of the classical topological topological algebra which
appears in the non-critical strings. In the quantum case, we analyze
the BRST cohomology to get the quantum free field expression of the algebra.Comment: 13 pages Latex, UTHEP-26
