Ethics committees in outpatient medical practice: a scoping review
This scoping review is being conducted to consolidate existing research on the broad topic of outpatient ethics committees, identify gaps in knowledge, and inform future implementation of outpatient ethics committees and studies performed on them. Inpatient or hospital ethics committees are well-researched and established, whereas outpatient ethics committees have not been explored as well. Outpatient ethics committees can serve as a helpful tool for healthcare providers in resolving ethical dilemmas that arise in non-hospital settings
