Prospects and tasks of sound vision application for diagnostics and visualization of cavitation and turbulent flows in medium and large diameter fittings

    No full text
The possibility of using sound vision to solve the problems of visualization and diagnostics of caviation and turbulent flows arising during the operation of pipeline valves is considered. The available methods of realization of sound vision are analyzed. A block diagram with the reconstruction of a holographic image is proposed. The diagram could visualize the picture of the cavitation flow. It is shown that it is most promising to develop such circuit and technical solutions that could form a complete picture of the flow in dynamics with the ability to digitize it for further analysis

Influence of cultivation technology on the yield of winter wheat

A comprehensive study has been carried out on the influence of technological methods of growing winter wheat on the process of formation of the above-ground mass of plants in the conditions of the forest-steppe of Ukraine. Crop rotation was carried out with two predecessors: black fallow and spring barley at a seeding rate of 3 and 5 million viable seeds/hectare. Evaluation of the intensity of plant development in the initial period of vegetation (measurement of absolutely dry weight of 100 plants 15 and 30 days after the emergence of full seedlings) was recorded in winter wheat plants in black fallow crops. The largest above-ground mass of the plant was formed 30 days after the emergence of full seedlings. A direct correlation was established between the amount of productive moisture in the soil layer of 0-25 cm and the period of emergence of winter wheat seedlings. The highest level of winter wheat yield was obtained for black fallow 3.46 t/ hectare when sown in the second decade of October

The concept of determining the residual life of vehicle assemblies and components

    No full text
Determining the residual life of vehicle assemblies and components is necessary to solve current problems of automobile transport: transition to maintenance (MOT) based on technical condition, development of a built-in diagnostic system, remote monitoring of the technical condition of vehicles. The improved design and high level of quality of modern cars would allow maintenance to be carried out more frequently than required by regulations. However, in order to make a decision on increasing the frequency, it is necessary to assess the actual technical condition of units and components and predict their residual life. Work is underway in the domestic automotive industry and abroad to create unmanned vehicles. In the absence of a driver, technical condition monitoring can only be performed using the built-in diagnostic system. The system must warn about the approaching limit state and take appropriate measures to prevent an emergency. The embedded system should be based on determining the current technical condition and estimating the remaining life using diagnostic parameters. One of the important tasks when assessing the technical condition and determining the residual life is to establish the relationship between structural and diagnostic parameters

On the issue of developing urban infrastructure for electric vehicles

    No full text
The work is devoted to the development of infrastructure for recharging electric vehicles. The relevance of the use of electric vehicles and the need to provide means of recharging their batteries are considered. The article provides an economic justification for the use of electric vehicles in an urban environment. A concept has been proposed for using electric charging stations at night in the parking lots of apartment buildings. Recommendations and justification for the use of Mode 1 charging stations are given
