Studii asupra germinaÅ£iei seminÅ£elor Åi rÄsÄririi plantelor de revent (Rheum Rhabarbarum L.)
Seed germination and plantlets spring at rhubarb species were
studied in the standard conditions on a peat substrate. Results revealed that the
germination rate was of 90%, and spring rate was of 82%. Germination period
had 12 days, starting in the 7-th day of experiment, and the spring was done in
10 day
Efectul distanÅ£elor de plantare asupra creÅterii Åi producÅ£iei de revent
The aim of the present research was to study the influence of planting
distances on the growth and yield on rhubarb, cultivars of Victoria, Glanskinās
perpetual and local population. Applying differential cultivation technology,
rhubarb yield varies according to crop density. The highest production was
obtained in case of Victoria cultivar at density of 13.330 pl.ha-1 (0.75 m x 1 m).
Statistically assured yields were also obtained at the density 10.000 pl.ha-1 (1 m
x 1 m) on the same cultivar. Total yield varied within wide limits according to
planting distances, ranging from 24.480 kg.ha-1 to 41.460 kg.ha-1
Efectul mulcirii Åi a cultivarului asupra producÅ£iei de revent
This paper presents the influence of mulch and cultivar on yield of
rhubarb. The biological material used was represented by three cultivars:
Glanskin's perpetual, Victoria and a local population. Were tested three
mulching methods: mulching with straw, mulching with black polyethylene film
of 15Ī¼, mulching with black polyethylene film of 30Ī¼ and unmulched
variant.Applying differential cultivation technology, rhubarb yield varies
according to cultivar and mulch. The research was carried out in a rhubarb
crop, in a four year production. The highest production was obtained in case of
Victoria cultivar mulching with straw. Statistically assured yields were also
obtained at Victoria cultivar un-mulched and Glankinās perpetual cultivar
mulching with straw
