Owen President, The Rotary Club Toledo, Ohio Dear Charles: On the train coming back from Cleveland we were talking about what club was the first to engage in crippled children work. * Please note the enclosed pamphlet. You will note on page 4 that the Rotary Club of Syracuse is credited with having been the first -in 1913. Then the Rotary Club of Toledo is credited with being the second -in 1916. l'his pamphlet has been in circula.tion for some time and there has been no challenge made as to these two historical credits. If you should discover that it is true that some other city in Ohio started the work in your state, we shall be very glad to have that information. With kindest regards, I remain Chesley R.
