J-GLOBAL ID : 200901048993785165This study aimed to re-evaluate the diverse values of Judo from the perspective of physical techniques. It also attempted to clarify the various values in the Budo in order to further advance Judo while embracing its local and global characteristics. 　The dilution of the culture of modern Judo is gaining attention as one of its problems, and the concepts of competition and victory are typical examples. However, the competitive nature of Judo is a valuable concept. Therefore, its traditional nature has to be maintained while including competitiveness. “Human development” is closely related to the tradition of Budo, and an attempt at “human development” is closely linked to the traditional idea of education in Japan. Thus, it clearly exhibits exposure to valuable concepts in conjunction with the learning of physical skills. In addition, it can be regarded as an activity that represents the culture of a “Path” that involves multifaceted growth at the same time. It also attempts to consider the prospect of martial arts, which respects tradition but looks ahead to further development. Budo in modern society recognizes great value in competition. However, its maturity is different compared to that as a cultural entity. Therefore, the individual is immature as a Budo athletes. The way Budo adapt to modern society should be a culture that can include such athletes, and we need someone to guide them. 　Judo shows the methods and processes of education for various purposes. However, the goal of integrating those “Michi” is cultural excellence. Thus, Judo and other martial arts are systems that aim to develop maturity in cultural beings. Moreover, a new martial arts culture will continue to be created by the mature existence there. Therefore, the development potential of culture by the mutual relationship between humans and culture and universal value thinking at the core of that interaction are the traditional qualities of Budo. ChatMPC: Natural Language based MPC Personalization

We address the personalization of control systems, which is an attempt to adjust inherent safety and other essential control performance based on each user's personal preferences. A typical approach to personalization requires a substantial amount of user feedback and data collection, which may result in a burden on users. Moreover, it might be challenging to collect data in real-time. To overcome this drawback, we propose a natural language-based personalization, which places a comparatively lighter burden on users and enables the personalization system to collect data in real-time. In particular, we consider model predictive control (MPC) and introduce an approach that updates the control specification using chat within the MPC framework, namely ChatMPC. In the numerical experiment, we simulated an autonomous robot equipped with ChatMPC. The result shows that the specification in robot control is updated by providing natural language-based chats, which generate different behaviors

セン類センボンゴケ科の系統・分類学的研究 : 東アジア産コゴケ属の胞子体多様化の起源に着目して

Supplement to the bryoflora confirmed or recorded in Miyajima Island, Hiroshima Prefecture, SW Japan

広島県廿日市市宮島の植物について，厳島の自然（1975）の発刊後に標本あるいは文献等で記録されたコケ植物のリストと標本・文献情報等について報告した。標本や文献情報，現地調査の結果，今回が初報告となるOrthotrichum consobrinum Cardot タチヒダゴケとPhyscomitrium eurystomum Sendtn. ヒロクチゴケ，Ulota crispa (Hedw.) Brid. カラフトキンモウケ，Lunularia cruciata (L.) Dumort. ミカヅキゼニゴケ，Riccia stenophylla Spruce ホソバウキゴケを含め12種が1975年以降に新たに報告された。また，分類学的研究や分子系統学的研究などの証拠標本として28種の宮島産コケ植物が1975年以降に引用されていることが確認された。Since the 1975 publication “Land and Life in Itsukushima”, we have documented the addition of 12 bryophytes confirmed or recorded for Miyajima Island, Hiroshima Prefecture, SW Japan. Based on previous publications, specimens and our recent investigations, we add Archidium ohioense Schimp. ex Müll.Hal., Brachythecium sakuraii Broth., Ditrichum lineare (Sw.) Lindb., Eccremidium minutum (Mitt.) I.G.Stone & G.A.M.Scott, Orthotrichum consobrinum Cardot, Physcomitrium eurystomum Sendtn., Timmiella anomala (Bruch & Schimp.) Limpr., Ulota crispa (Hedw.) Brid., Fossombronia japonica Schiffn., Lunularia cruciata (L.) Dumort., Riccardia marginata (Colenso) Pearson var. pacifica Furuki, and Riccia stenophylla Spruce. We also provide additional information on previously reported bryophytes, including Diphyscium lorifolium (Cardot) Magombo, Syrrhopodon tosaensis Cardot, Weissia exserta (Broth.) P.C.Chen, W. newcomeri (E.B.Bartram) K.Saito, Archilejeunea planifolia (Horik.) Mizut., Odontoschisma pseudogrosseverrucosum Gradst., S.C.Aranda & Vanderp., Trichocolea pluma (Reinw., Blume & Nees) Mont., and Tuyamaella molischii (Schiffn.) Bounded Combinatorial Reconfiguration with Answer Set Programming

We develop an approach called bounded combinatorial reconfiguration for solving combinatorial reconfiguration problems based on Answer Set Programming (ASP). The general task is to study the solution spaces of source combinatorial problems and to decide whether or not there are sequences of feasible solutions that have special properties. The resulting recongo solver covers all metrics of the solver track in the most recent international competition on combinatorial reconfiguration (CoRe Challenge 2022). recongo ranked first in the shortest metric of the single-engine solvers track. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of bounded combinatorial reconfiguration, and present an ASP encoding of the independent set reconfiguration problem that is one of the most studied combinatorial reconfiguration problems. Changes in the educational value of Judo : Its cultural presence

　Judo, an integral component of Japanese culture, is now communicating its values to the world. Acknowledgement of Judo’s local and global relevance is essential to facilitating its widespread popularity. However, a sense of rigidity with regard to acknowledgement of Judo’s global significance is one of the most pertinent issues faced by Japanese Judo practitioners, who typically acknowledge only its domestic value. Other immediate impediments to the global acknowledgement of Judo include Japanese Judo practitioners’ reluctance to rethink Judo’s history and culture and explore its universal value. The aim of the current study was to reevaluate Judo’s value from an educational perspective. This study also attempted to ascertain “Judo’s diverse value” by discussing its local and global significance.　Since the days of Jigoro Kano, Judo has embodied elements such as competitiveness and fun. In other words, its cultural transformation from the past to the present has not deviated from the so-called principles of Judo, indicating that the educational Judo that Kano aimed for has yet to be fully realized. Human education is the purpose of Judo; given that premise, it is similar to the development of human beings through exercise, which is the purpose of physical education. However, the perspective of “fun” in exercise, which is one of the principles of physical education, is not fully reflected in the discussion about human education through Judo. Therefore, reassessing the educational value of Judo is a pressing issue for Judo education
