Understanding vulnerabilities using a hotspot approach

The Collaborative Adaptation Research Initiative in Africa and Asia (CARIAA) focuses on semi-arid areas in the western and southern parts of India, deltas in the east, and mountain systems in the north. This policy brief provides an overview of hotspot areas and where CARIAA has identified vulnerability issues working with DECCMA (DEltas, Vulnerability, and Climate Change: Migration as an Adaptation), ASSAR-India (Adaptation at Scale in Semi-Arid Regions) and HI-AWARE (Himalayan Adaptation, Water and Resilience).
