STUDY ON POPULATION OF FROM D. MELANOGASTER KATUL MEDIA FERMENTED SACHAROMYCES CEREVISAE AS SWIFLET WOOF
An identification of D.melanogaster population has been developed through
artifical medium of fermented whole grain waste product by Sacharomyces cereviceae;
which it’s application and simpel technology is highly economic valuable for swift feed
to enhance its quality and quantity. Fermented whole grain waste product has not been
used as insect feed. In order to unravel the decreasing of fruits production during dry
season which implicated the decreasing of D.melanogaster population that use as swift
feed . This research aim to identify D.melanogaster population from banana, compare to
artifical medium. Followed by chemical analysis of protein, carbohydrate, fat, mineral,
and calorie value; determine the feed availability with swift nest population as well as
determine the nutrition chemical compound in swift nest; mass, thickness, protein,
carbohydrate, fat and mineral. The fact that fermented whole grain waste product can
growth the D.melanogaster which is used for swift feed, swift farmers can develop
D.melanogaster to increase quality and quantity of swift nest. Based on analysis of
variance, natural medium from banana on population of D.melanogaster growth. For
artificial feed, fermented whole grain waste product, the E treatment of D.melanogaster
with banana fruit show the best result
Penilaian Kinerja Keuangan Pada Emiten Lq-45 Periode 2007 – 2011 Di Bursa Efek Indonesia
LQ 45 indexes is an index consisting of 45 shares of stocks that have a high liquidity and also consider the capitalization of stock market shares are. Financial performance is an illustration of achieving financial success on the company. Financial performance on the issuers of LQ 45 during the period 2007 - 2011 experienced an increase in the different areas of each issuer. This can occur because of action for investors who speculate, economic conditions in the country, conditions in the financial performance of issuers LQ 45 and the appreciation of the stock that investors of the stock issuers LQ 45 that active transactions in the Indonesian capital market. Results from this research can be concluded that there are six values of the financial ratio (QR, DER, ROE, ITO, PBV, and PER), which shows an improvement in financial performance of issuers LQ 45 during the period 2007-2011, and only the value of the ratio of the market assessment can increased the most dominant performance in the financial of issuers LQ 45
Inner Circle English Cultural Senses Found in Interlanguage XII
The learning of culture is unavoidable in the learning of English
since cultural values are embedded in the body of language. In order to
communicate effectively, language learners need to be culturally aware of
what their utterances might convey. As one of important factors in
successful language learning process, English course books should foster
English cultural issues and support learners to be culturally competence.
The study investigated cultural contents of the inner-circle English
countries in an English course book entitled Interlanguage XII, which has
been approved by Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (BSNP). The
inner-circle English cultural contents were investigated through the
theory of four senses of culture by Adaskou et al (1990). The all four
senses of culture were included in Interlanguage XII. The results
indicated that the highest percentage is the presence of pragmatic sense,
while the least sense was the sociological sense. The results also showed
that even though the all four sense were present, the frequency among
those four was not balance. This implies the aim and the emphasis of the
course book in the foreign language learning; the course book emphasize
more on the use of language instead of its grammatical and structural
skill
Antimicrobial resistance of Neisseria gonorrhoeae isolates in south-west Germany, 2004 to 2015: increasing minimal inhibitory concentrations of tetracycline but no resistance to third-generation cephalosporins
Introduction Numbers of gonorrhoea cases have increased, and the World Health
Organization has estimated 106 million new cases in adults worldwide for 2008,
which was 21% higher than numbers for 2005 [1]. At the same time, rising rates
of antimicrobial resistance of its causative agent, Neisseria gonorrhoeae,
have been reported in many parts of the world including Europe, even against
the third-generation cephalosporins, cefixime and ceftriaxone [2,3]. For this
reason, cefixime alone is no longer recommended as single-drug treatment for
gonorrhoea in Europe or the United States [4,5]. The European Gonococcal
Antimicrobial Surveillance Programme (EURO-GASP) was established by 12
European countries in 2004 in response to the emerging antimicrobial
resistance of N. gonorrhoeae, as part of the European Surveillance of Sexually
Transmitted Infections Project [6]. In 2016, EURO-GASP has participation from
laboratories from 21 European Union/European Economic Area countries, which
regularly report gonorrhoea susceptibility testing results and epidemiological
surveillance data, and submit gonococcal isolates for centralised testing or
participate in decentralised testing. Since 2009, EURO-GASP has been
coordinated by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC).
Resistance data have been published regularly and in a timely manner [7,8],
but the numbers of isolates tested per country are relatively low (between 10
and 251 in 2011 [8]) and therefore most likely not representative of the
epidemiological situation of the individual countries. As cases of gonorrhoea
or antimicrobial resistance patterns of N. gonorrhoeae isolates are not
subject to reporting in Germany, data regarding current antimicrobial
susceptibility and its development over time are scarce. Only three individual
studies have addressed this issue in the past 10 years. Abraham et al.
analysed 50 isolates collected between 2001 and 2010 in Dresden, Saxony [9],
while Horn and colleagues have reported the results of a nationwide
surveillance study conducted by the Paul-Ehrlich-Society of Chemotherapy in
2010/2011 in which 213 isolates submitted by 23 laboratories were analysed
[10]. Additionally, minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) of selected
antibiotics for 65 N. gonorrhoeae isolates collected in 2004/2005 in southern
Germany have been reported [11]. None of these studies has reported
cephalosporin-resistant N. gonorrhoeae isolates. Data from EURO-GASP, however,
have provided evidence for the presence of cephalosporin-resistant N.
gonorrhoeae isolates in Germany, too [7,8]; in fact, an Austrian patient with
a cefixime-resistant N. gonorrhoeae isolate acquired his infection in Munich,
south Germany [12]. To gain more information on the antimicrobial
susceptibility of N. gonorrhoeae in Germany and elucidate possible changes in
antimicrobial resistance occurring over time, we analysed the susceptibility
patterns of all N. gonorrhoeae isolates identified and tested in our
laboratory between 2004 and 2015 (n = 434). Since age and sex have been
identified as risk factors for harbouring antimicrobial-resistant N.
gonorrhoeae isolates [13,14], we additionally analysed our data regarding
these parameters. Unfortunately, the study design chosen did not provide
information regarding other possible risk factors, e.g. working as
professional sex worker or being a man who has sex with men (MSM)
Seismic Design of Pile Foundations: Structural and Geotechnical Issues
Research on soil-pile-structure interaction under dynamic loading over the past 20 years has led to a variety of analysis approaches of varying complexity to address a range of dynamic problems. Many of these analysis approaches have been adapted for use for the seismic design of pile foundations. In this paper, the various analysis methods are only briefly reviewed. The focus of discussion is on design concepts and issues more routinely used or encountered by structural engineers during seismic design of new or retrofitted pile foundation systems representative of those used for bridges and buildings
