Comparative Analysis of Moor Frog Anomalies (Rana arvalis Nils., 1842) in Different Areas of Surgut City
In the local populations of moor frogs in Surgut city, 30 types of morphological anomalies were discovered. The quantity and frequency of anomalies were high in industrial and multistoried areas of the city. Individual subjects could have 1 to 4 different anomalies. The paper reveals that major variations in anomalies occurs in industrial and multistoried areas of the city.

Enabling Attributes for Team-Based Knowledge Sharing: A Preliminary Empirical Test
This study proposes and empirically tests a conceptual model of knowledge sharing in a team-based environment. Relationships among people in organizations play a significant role in the transfer of knowledge. Using social psychology as our theoretical frame of reference, we propose that empathy and helping behaviors lead to enhanced knowledge sharing. A written survey was developed and piloted to test these two enabling conditions. Our data show that both result in higher levels of transacting behaviors in which knowledge is shared
Spill over effects of Geopolitical risk on the banking sector of CIS countries
This study examines the spill over effects of geopolitical risks (GPR) and extreme shocks on Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) economies, as result of the Russia β Ukraine war, with particular focus on financial institutions. Further, we investigate whether the performance of CIS banks has been impacted by economic sanctions imposed on Russia since the start of the conflict. Understanding GPR transmission mechanisms and consequences on Russiaβs neighbouring countries allows policymakers and financial institutions to formulate and implement risk management strategies. For a global measure of geo-political risk, we employ the global GPR index from Caldara and Iacoviello (2022) and we use the Diebold-Yilmaz (2012) connectedness model to estimate the spill over effect. First, we investigate the spill over effect of the recent conflict on the returns of banks for a sample of CIS countries. Further, we examine the spill over effect on macro-economic indicators of our sample of countries. Our preliminary results do not show significant GPR transmissions in terms of returns and risk within the banking sectors of the CIS countries examined
US-CHINA CONFLICT OF INTEREST IN THE CONTEXT OF DEVELOPING THE ASIA-PACIFIC REGION
Purpose of the study: This article aims to study scenarios for the development of the Asia-Pacific region in the context of the US-China conflict of interest in this region.
Methodology: The article is concerned with the conflict of interest between the United States of America and China in the context of the development of the Asia-Pacific region associated with activities of these leading actors of international relations in the Asia-Pacific region and the relevant integration structures and agreements.
Main Findings: The authors of the article have analyzed the US-Chinese relations in the Asia-Pacific region and presented an overview of the international situation.
Applications of this study: Special attention was paid to the expert discussion of scenarios for the probable development of the Asia-Pacific region in the immediate future, including the preservation of the existing state of affairs ("Status Quo"), the global Trans-Pacific and Trans-Atlantic Silk Road Partnership under the auspices of China, the creation of the Asia-Pacific free-trade zone and the "northern" space of economic partnership
Influence of rock-forming and catalytic additives on transformation of highly viscous heavy oil
Β© 2016 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. The influence of the rock-forming additives kaolin and alumina in the presence of nickel compounds on the thermal catalytic conversion of heavy oil at a temperature of 360Β°C in a reducing atmosphere at different pressures in the system has been revealed. The effect of poly-Ξ±-olefins as a hydrogen donor has been examined. It has been found that there are predominant degradation reactions of the resinous components, aliphatic substituents in asphaltenes, and branched aliphatic structures accompanied by redistribution of n-alkanes toward homologues with a lower molecular weight, resulting in reduction in the viscosity of heavy oil. Conducting the process in the presence of Al2O3, Ni, and poly-Ξ±-olefins at a pressure of 8 MPa increases the quantity of light fractions of the oil and facilitates the degradation of asphaltenes. A decrease of pressure in the experiment on the oil with kaolin in a reducing atmosphere leads to a decrease in aromaticity of the final product and an increase in the yield of lube oil hydrocarbon and low-boiling fractions
Fatty acid profile of pseudomonas aurantiaca DNA-bound lipids according to ESI-LC-MS mass-spectrometry
Approach to the study of prokaryotic chromatin lipidome has been realized based on analysis of fatty acid profile of DNA-bound lipids using electrospray ionization mass spectrometry ESI-LC-MS. By this method, we found 16:0 and 18:1 fatty acids, which are contained in the first fraction (weakly bound to DNA), and 14:0, 16:1 and 18:2 fatty acids, which are contained in the second fraction (strongly bound to DNA)
Lipid and fatty acid profiles of Pseudomonas aurantiaca DNA-bound lipids determined by mass spectrometry
Β© 2015, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. An approach used on investigation of the lipid composition of loosely (fraction 1) and tightly (fraction 2) DNA-bound lipids of Pseudomonas aurantiaca cells by electrospray ionization using mass spectrometry (ESI-LC-MS) was used for determination of the lipidome of a prokaryotic cell. Free fatty acids C16:0, C18:1 (fraction 1), C14:0, C16:0, and C18:2 (fraction 2) were detected. Both fractions of DNA-bound lipids were characterized by the presence of phosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylserine, and lyso-phosphatidylinositol. The alcohol-soluble fraction 1 could also contain phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylinositol, while fraction 2 probably contained triacylglycerides. Compared to gas chromatography, ESI-LC-MS provides new possibilities for investigation of the nucleoid lipidome, allowing for more detailed investigation of DNA-bound lipids in bacterial cells
Interactions of New bis-Ammonium Thiacalix[4]arene Derivatives in 1,3-Alternate Stereoisomeric Form with Bovine Serum Albumin
Β© 2016, Springer Science+Business Media New York.New bis-ammonium thiacalix[4]arene derivatives with different lipophilicity were synthesized using copper(I)-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition in good yields. Binding of a new thiacalix[4]arene derivatives with bovine serum albumin (BSA) was investigated in detail using fluorescence spectroscopy method. Quenching mechanism, the binding constants, and number of binding sites were determined
Steam-Air conversion of heavy oil in the presence of nanosized metal oxide particles
Β© 2016 Springer Science+Business Media New York. The effect of suspended nanosized magnetite and hematite particles on the thermal degradation of heavy oil at 360Β°C in a steamair atmosphere was studied at various pressures. The highmolecularweight components of the oil were found to undergo degradation, leading to reduced oil viscosity. The effect of aluminum and zinc oxides used as additives to initiate hydrocarbon bond dissociation on this process was also investigated. The mechanisms for how change in composition components alters the conversion products relative to the initial oil were studied. Carrying out the process in the presence of additives at 11 MPa leads to reduced yield of aromatic end products with increased yield of oil hydrocarbons and the formation of gaseous products. Asphalticresin materials are also found to be reduced due to conversion in the presence of the additives. Rheological curves were determined for the conversion products and were used to show the change in the viscositytemperature characteristics
