Designoptimierung fuer Mikrosysteme. Teilvorhaben: Optimierung fuer die Simulation von Mikrosystemen Schlussbericht

In the frame of the co-operative project called 'DEMIS Design Optimization for Micro Systems' direct and indirect mathematical optimization methods were implemented, conceptions were developed for efficient simulation and optimization environments needed for the design process and interfaces were specified for the interaction of the tools. With a heterogeneous coupling of tools the successful use of the PC-based simulation software and a software package on the basis of genetic algorithms were represented by means of various demonstrations. The own development works in an optimization tool ITI-OPT in co-operation with ITI-SIM led to a product with comfortable user interface. The marketing has begun. The customization accessed in the frame of the cooperation project 'Modeling in the Micro System Technology' and continuous development of ITI-SIM simulator extends the application range of the system simulation required by the MST. Thereby an interesting working tool for the model development and simulation is provided for small and medium size enterprises as well. Expandable model libraries were created. Furthermore the works included interfaces for simulator couplings and investigations for a uniform method of model description.
