A satisfaction survey OF participants OF THE project "your life – your responsibility #tested for HIV»

The article presents the results of a survey of adolescents and young people participating in this project of the Ural state medical university. USMU is conducted in 2016 with a project "Your life – your responsibility #tested for HIV." In 2018, the project included visits of operational teams of student volunteers to educational organizations of the Sverdlovsk region with coverage of rapid testing for HIV, before and after test counseling, as well as the quest "HIV through the eyes of youth" and other forms of work for more than 1,000 students aged 15 to 23 years.В статье представлены результаты опроса подростков и молодежи – участников проекта Уральского государственного медицинского университета. В УГМУ с 2016 реализуется проект «Твоя жизнь – твоя ответственность#пройди тест на ВИЧ». В 2018 в рамках проекта были осуществлены выезды оперативных бригад студентов-добровольцев в образовательные организации Свердловской области с охватом экспресстестированием на ВИЧ, до- и после тестовым консультированием, а также квестом «ВИЧ глазами молодежи» и др. формами работы более 1000 обучающихся в возрасте от 15 до 23 лет

The use of apolipoprotein A-I as a component of serum-free nutrient medium for bone marrow cell culture

An important step in preparation of cells for cell therapy and tissue engineering is the cultivation of cells in vitro. The aim of this work is to study the effect of human apolipoprotein A-I (apoA-I) on the functional activity of cultured bone marrow cells and to show the possibility of using this protein instead of animal fetal serum. Material and methods. Bone marrow cells were cultured in 24-well plates in RPMI-1640 medium in a CO2 incubator at a temperature of 37 °C. The rate of incorporation of [14C]-leucine into the total cell protein and [3H]-thymidine into the DNA was used as an integral indicator of cell viability during cultivation. Results and discussion. It was found that the rate of DNA synthesis in bone marrow cells in the presence of apo A-I increased compared with the control group (without apo A-I) by 55 % after 8 hours, by 523 % after 24 hours and by 219 % after 48 hours. Under these conditions the rate of protein synthesis was also increased. The results indicate that the presence of apo A-I in serum-free culture medium preserves the functional activity of cultured bone marrow cells. Considering that the regulatory effect of apo A-I is achieved at a low protein concentration in the medium (15 μg/ml), isolation of apo A-I from the patient’s own blood serum will provide a practically safe nutrient medium for culturing autologous bone marrow cells with applications in personalized cell therapy and tissue engineering

Risk assessment of men, underwented myocardial infarction in young age

A retrospective analysis of 96 patient’s cards with myocardial infarction in age younger then 40 years showed, that in this sampling such risk factors as smoking, overweight, arterial hypertension and dyslipidemia are of maximum value.Ретроспективный анализ 96 историй болезни пациентов, перенесших инфаркт миокарда в возрасте до 40 лет, показал, что в этой возрастной группе наибольшее значение в развитии заболевания имеют такие факторы риска, как курение, избыточная масса тела, артериальная гипертония и дислипидемия

ВЛИЯНИЕ ТРАНСКРИПЦИОННЫХ ФАКТОРОВ, VEGF И ПРОТЕИНАЗ НА прогрессирование РАКА ПОЧКИ

Introduction. The efficacy of anticancer treatment depends on biological factors of tumor.The aim of the study was to determine the activity of proteasomes and calpains and to  reveal their association with VEGF, HIF-1α and NF-κΒ expressions in normal, primary and metastatic renal cell carcinoma (RCC) tissues.Methods. Ninety-three patients with renal cell carcinoma were included into the study. The expression levels of transcription factor and VEGF were measured using ELISA kits. The  levels of proteasome subunits were measured by Western Blotting. Proteasome and calpain  activities were determined using specific fluorogenic  substrates.Results. We revealed inactivation of proteolysis in patients with kidney cancer. Disease advance was associated with a significant depression of cellular proteolysis and increase in  transcription and growth factor levels in primary kidney cancer tissues. The proteolysis  activation was found in metastatic tissues.Conclusions. Our results suggest that NF-κΒ, HIF-1α and VEGF transcription factors and intracellular proteolytic systems are involved in kidney cancer progression.Введение. Эффективность противоракового лечения зависит от биологических факторов опухоли.Цель исследования – определить активность протеасом и кальпаинов и выявить их связь с содержанием  VEGF, HIF-1α и NF-κΒ в опухолевых, неизмененных и метастатических тканях карциномы почек (RCC).Материал и методы. В исследование были включены 93 пациента с почечно-клеточным раком. Содержание  транскрипционных факторов и VEGF определяли методом ИФА. Количественный состав протеасом исследовали  методом Вестерн-блоттинг. Активность протеасомы и кальпаина определяли с использованием специфического флюорогенного субстрата.Результаты. Выявлена инактивация протеолиза у пациентов с раком почки. Прогрессирование заболевания  было связано со значительным снижением уровня клеточного протеолиза и ростом содержания  транскрипционных и ростовых факторов в тканях первичной опухоли. Активация протеолиза была обнаружена в метастатических тканях.Выводы. В результате проведенного исследования показано, что факторы транскрипции NF-κΒ, HIF-1α, VEGF и внутриклеточные протеолитические системы участвуют в прогрессировании рака почки

This article describes the results of a sociological survey on the quality of filling and accessibility of information on the official websites of medical organizations. According to the results of the survey and according to the requirements of the order of the Ministry of Health of Russia dated December 30, 2014 No. 956n, criteria were selected and a quality audit of 25 sites of medical organizations in Yekaterinburg was conducted.В данной статье описаны результаты проведения социологического опроса о качестве наполнения и доступности информации наофициальных сайтах медицинских организаций. По результатам опроса и согласно требованиям приказа Минздрава России от 30.12.2014 №956н, отобраны критерии и проведен аудит качества 25-ти сайтов медицинских организаций г. Екатеринбурга

Использование UBC-теста в качестве уринологического маркера рака мочевого пузыря

The enzyme immunoassay was used to evaluate diagnostic value of level of tumoral marker UBC at 54 patients with muscle invasive bladder cancer. The obtained data testify to possibility of use of the UBC-test for diagnostics primary bladder cancer, at monitoring for patients for revealing superficial and muscle invasive relapses after spent treatments. UBC it can be considered as the additional diagnostic marker, allowing to assume presence muscle invasive character of growth of a tumors, and also for an efficiency estimation neoadjuvant chemotherapy.С помощью иммуноферментного анализа у 54 больных раком мочевого пузыря (РМП) исследован уровень опухолевого маркера UBC. Полученные данные свидетельствуют о возможности использования UBC-теста для диагностики первичного РМП, контроля за больными для выявления поверхностных и инвазивных рецидивов после проведенного органосохранного лечения. UBC может рассматриваться в качестве дополнительного диагностического маркера, позволяющего предполагать наличие инвазивного характера роста опухоли, а также для оценки эффективности неоадъювантной химиотерапии
