Personal information is available to anyone, anywhere at anytime. That includes the data subject itself, commercial users, social networks, governmental authorities and also parties with illegal intentions. Is the availability to authorities of our personal data necessary for the protection of our national security and protection against computer-criminality? Can we be certain that the processing of our personal data is done for solely legitimate purposes? And are we certain that our personal data is well protected when being processed? ...and do we really care? In this article Rob van den Hoven van Genderen discusses these issues.

Neighbourhood walks as place-making in later life
For older people living in densely populated urban neighbourhoods, walking is an important mode of everyday mobility: it allows to engage in neighbourhood social life and can mitigate physiological decline, which is emphasised in healthy ageing discourses. However, walking is also a means through which meanings about the places of one's everyday life are (re)produced and, hence, contributes to feelings of illbeing and wellbeing. In this paper, we provide a phenomenological account of older adults' place-making practices through walking. In examining this topic, we draw on twelve walking interviews with older adults living independently in two urban neighbourhoods in the Netherlands. Our findings reveal that although our respondents developed a sense of 'insideness' through their spatial and social routes and routines, these same routes and routines also acted as exclusionary mechanisms. We argue that these 'meaningful movements', characterised by ambivalence, remain underexposed in healthy ageing discourses. Paying attention to these feelings and experiences would allow for a better understanding of the facilitators and impediments of walking in later life and its effect on social and emotional wellbeing. This paper concludes by providing implications for policy and planning practice in developing age-friendly and walkable neighbourhoods

De klassieke afnemers van internetdiensten zijn leveranciers geworden. Tekst, beeld en geluid wordt door gebruikers geplaatst op Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn, Hyves, The Pirate Bay, etc. Iedereen is overal bereikbaar, anyone, anytime, anywhere. Psychiatric Aspects of Lyme Disease in Children and Adolescents: A Community Epidemiologic Study in Westchester, New York
To date, no community study has examined the psychiatric aspects and or sequelae of Lyme disease (LO) among children. As part of a community epidemiologic study of psychiatric disorders among children ages 9 through 17 in a Lyme endemic county, parents were asked whether their child had ever been diagnosed as having LD, and 10.1% (36/357) responded yes to the LO question. Of the 36, 29 also agreed to take part in a follow-up interview. Sixteen of the 29 children had had physician-diagnosed LO as well as either an erythema migrans rash or a positive serology. Fifteen of these 16 received treatment within I month of symptom onset; none of these 15 children were symptomatic longer than 4 months. Only one child had physical symptoms at the time of the interview; she was not treated until 4 month~ after symptom onset. This child experienced 5 years of mtermittent arthritis, cognitive deficits, emotional problems, severe fatigue, and a deterioration in school performance. Courses of oral antibiotics were at first associated with a good response, followed by a resurgence of symptoms month<; later. The lifetime prevalence of LD by history among children ages 9 through 17 in an endemic area may be at least 44.8/1000. In general, when LD is diagnosed early, it responds well to treatment. Delayed diagnosis and treatment may lead to a chronic course
Geographical distribution and population structure of springbok Antidorcas marsupialis rumen protozoa in southern Africa
Springbok were sampled in Angola, South West Africa, Kalahari Gemsbok National Park, the Cape Province and Eastern Transvaal between July 1973 and July 1974. All the ciliates found in the 20 rumens investigated belonged to a single genus Entodinium (family Ophryoscolecidae) and they varied in number from 0,3 x 106 to 2,5 x 106 per cm3 of rumen fluid. The different species were found and a positive correlation is seen between total numbers and protein content of the feed. It has been concluded that the numbers of E. par-uum are closely related to the protein concentration of the feed
PRACTICAL EXPLORATION OF LOW-COST YET HIGHLY ACCURATE 3D MAPPING TECHNIQUES FOR DOCUMENTATION AND CONSERVATION OF AN EGYPTIAN TOMB (THEBAN TOMB 45)
This research presents the initial endeavour to perform geo-referenced 3D reconstruction of an ancient Egyptian tomb located on the West Bank of the Nile in Luxor, evaluating low-cost techniques. This study uses low-cost equipment in conjunction with simple geodetical principles to accurately map a tomb in 3D to empower archaeological teams with limited budgets to efficiently and effectively map their projects. Emphasizing the project goals of both high detail and high accuracy, one of our chosen techniques is photogrammetry with a standard system camera. Additionally, 3D mapping with a modern smartphone was explored in the tomb and was compared with results from the photogrammetry process. Geo-referencing the underground map in a global grid was also part of the project goals. This research shows that, within certain reasonable constraints, the chosen low-cost techniques successfully achieved all goals of producing a highly detailed, highly accurate, and georeferenced 3D map of the selected tomb (Theban Tomb 45). In this first season of mapping the tomb in 3D, various mapping methods were used and tried and where possible compared. Digitally mapping an ancient, underground Egyptian tomb requires a planned approach. In order to better plan when using low-cost scanning equipment, preliminary research was done for mapping a mostly underground, relatively small but complex to survey ancient Egyptian tomb. Data have been collected with the use of both devices and also with a total station, a laser distance meter and a GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) datalogger
