    A study for 2-D indoor localization using multiple leaky coaxial cables

    Indoor localization technology, which can provide the location information of the target object or stochastic things, is becoming essential requirement for many applications and services such as Internet-of-Things (IoT), real-time control in the development of Fifth-generation (5G) technology. Leaky coaxial cable which can be used as antennas is able to detect the location of the user in a simple way due to its potential property. In this paper, we proposes a simple method to improve the localization accuracy of 2-D indoor localization using multiple LCX cables. In addition, we also evaluate the channel capacity loss due to the localization error of the LCX-MIMO using our proposed method

    Two-Dimensional RSSI-Based Indoor Localization Using Multiple Leaky Coaxial Cables With a Probabilistic Neural Network

    Received signal strength indicator (RSSI) based indoor localization technology has its irreplaceable advantages for many location-aware applications. It is becoming obvious that in the development of fifth-generation (5G) and future communication technology, indoor localization technology will play a key role in location-based application scenarios including smart home systems, manufacturing automation, health care, and robotics. Compared with wireless coverage using conventional monopole antenna, leaky coaxial cables (LCX) can generate a uniform and stable wireless coverage over a long-narrow linear-cell or irregular environment such as railway station and underground shopping-mall, especially for some manufacturing factories with wireless zone areas from a large number of mental machines. This paper presents a localization method using multiple leaky coaxial cables (LCX) for an indoor multipath-rich environment. Different from conventional localization methods based on time of arrival (TOA) or time difference of arrival (TDOA), we consider improving the localization accuracy by machine learning RSSI from LCX. We will present a probabilistic neural network (PNN) approach by utilizing RSSI from LCX. The proposal is aimed at the two-dimensional (2-D) localization in a trajectory. In addition, we also compared the performance of the RSSI-based PNN (RSSI-PNN) method and conventional TDOA method over the same environment. The results show the RSSI-PNN method is promising and more than 90% of the localization errors in the RSSI-PNN method are within 1 m. Compared with the conventional TDOA method, the RSSI-PNN method has better localization performance especially in the middle area of the wireless coverage of LCXs in the indoor environment

Inventory control in supply chain management is the important content of supply chain management. The new management mode makes inventory management present many new characteristics and problems compared with traditional inventory management. From the view of system theory and integration theory, it is imperative to re-examine the problem of inventory control, put forward new inventory management strategies adapted to integrated supply chain management, and improve the integration of the whole supply chain, which can enhance the agility and market response speed of enterprises. Based on the in-depth study of the joint inventory management model, this paper analyzed the current situation of the joint inventory management to optimize the inventory. In view of the achievements and shortcomings of the current research, a more systematic and improved optimization model of the supply chain inventory was proposed by using the basic ideas of ant colony algorithm and fuzzy model

    Precursory Cooper Flow in Ultralow-Temperature Superconductors

    Superconductivity at low temperature -- observed in lithium and bismuth, as well as in various low-density superconductors -- calls for developing reliable theoretical and experimental tools for predicting ultralow critical temperatures, TcT_c, of Cooper instability in a system demonstrating nothing but normal Fermi liquid behavior in a broad range of temperatures below the Fermi energy, TFT_{\rm F}. Equally important are controlled predictions of stability in a given Cooper channel. We identify such a protocol within the paradigm of precursory Cooper flow -- a universal ansatz describing logarithmically slow temperature evolution of the linear response of the normal state to the pair-creating perturbation. Applying this framework to the two-dimensional uniform electron gas, we reveal a series of exotic superconducting states, pushing controlled theoretical predictions of TcT_c to the unprecedentedly low scale of 10100TF10^{-100} T_{\rm F}

    The association between FGF21 and diabetic erectile dysfunction: Evidence from clinical and animal studies

    Erectile dysfunction (ED), a complication of diabetes mellitus (DM), affects 50–75% of men with diabetes. Fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) is a liver-derived metabolic regulator which plays a role in insulin-independent glucose uptake in adipocytes. We designed a clinical study and an animal experiment to investigate the relationship between FGF21 and DM-induced ED. The clinical study enrolled 93 participants aged \u3e 18 years (61 patients with type 2 DM and 32 healthy controls) from Taian City Central Hospital (TCCH) in Shandong Province, China, amongst whom the association between serum FGF21 and diabetic ED was analyzed. To further validate this association, we developed animal model of diabetic ED using Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats. Serum FGF21 concentration and FGF21 mRNA expression in penile samples of the rats were determined with Western blotting and quantitative real-time PCR. Among the 93 participants, the level of serum FGF21 was negatively correlated with the IIEF-5 score (r = -0.74, P \u3c 0.001). The analysis on the performance of FGF21 for ED diagnosis showed that the area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was 0.875 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.803 to 0.946). In the animal experiment, the levels of serum FGF21, 2-Δ Δ Ct values of FGF21 mRNA expression, and relative levels of FGF21 in penile samples were higher in the ED group compared to the DM and control groups. Our findings demonstrated an association between the FGF21 level and diabetic ED, indicating the potential of this cytokine in predicting diabetic ED
