The Technology Development and Management of Smart Manufacturing System: A Review On Theoretical and Technological Perspectives
This paper encompasses a state-of-the-art review on smart manufacturing system (SMS), focusing on theoretical relevance to technology development and technology management. The theoretical foundation of technology development has been reviewed based on the Rogers’ Diffusion of Innovation (DoI) theory and technology management has been focused on the basis of Technology Strategy Model (TSM) of Rieck and Dickson to shape the paper with theory of Management of Technology (MOT). A patent on SMS has been discussed to show how different technologies are integrated into this system. The characteristics of SMS have discussed the overall aspects of this future technological system. The the global textile complex has been depicted with a proposed SMS model of the apparel production unit. This study integrates the latest articles and technology on future manufacturing system perspectives, which gives a robust idea of mintegration have been identified as the major components of SMS. A brief model of SMS in the apparel production system demonstrated how SMS works in the industry level. Development of a Framework for More Effective Implementation of Total Quality Management Principles in Apparel Manufacturing
The purpose of this paper is to develop a model or framework of total quality management (TQM) implementation in Textile and RMG industry. Textile and RMG Industry is an important sector for Bangladesh in terms of industrial expansion of the country, earning foreign currency and creating job opportunities. However, it faces subtle problems due to labor unrest, political instability and owner’s ignorance. TQM is an approach that focuses on customer satisfaction. Therefore, implementation of TQM is a challenging task. Through a self-administrative survey from 50 Industries of textile and RMG industry in Bangladesh data have been collected. This paper identifies ten key factors of TQM implementation in the Textile and RMG Industry in Bangladesh. These are Leadership, Communication, Strategic Quality Planning, Training, Customer Satisfaction, Continuous Improvement, Employee Involvement & Satisfaction, Culture, Supplier Satisfaction and Teamwork

This paper uses a state-of-the-art review system with a purpose to review and synthesize the latest information on the possible integration of potential disruptive technologies into the future development of ERP. Different software, such as Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRPII), and Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) have been found to be the base of existing versions of ERP. Potential disruptive Industry 4.0 technologies that can be integrated into ERP are found to be artificial intelligence, business intelligence, internet of things, big data, blockchain technology, and omnichannel strategy. Notable Critical Success Factors of ERP are top management support, project team, IT infrastructure, communication, skilled staff, training & education, and monitoring & evaluation. Moreover, cybersecurity has been found to be the most challenging issue to overcome in future versions of ERP. This paper could help the future ERP researchers and respective stakeholders contribute to integrate newer features in the future versions of ERP

A novel approach for pineapple leaf fiber processing as an ultimate fiber using existing machines
This research aims to study the spinnability of pristine PALF and PALF blended cotton using the existing spinning machines. Apron draft ring spinning frame and flyer jute spinning frame were used to produce 100% PALF yarn and the yarns count were found 121 tex and 138 tex separately. Besides, 90:10 and 80:20 cotton-PALF blended 30 tex yarn spun in a cotton spinning system with different twist factors. With both yarns, two samples; 1/1 plain and 3/1 twill fabrics, were fabricated through equal density. For plain and twill fabric, PALF yarn of 121 tex and 138 tex were used in the warp way, respectively and PALF blended cotton yarn of 60 tex was used in the weft way. Through the study, physio-mechanical properties of the samples were explored and FTIR & XRD patterns were analyzed to perform the task for diversified use as an ultimate fiber in industrial and domestic purposes
Corrigendum: Insights into the coinfections of human immunodeficiency virus-hepatitis B virus, human immunodeficiency virus-hepatitis C virus, and hepatitis B virus-hepatitis C virus: prevalence, risk factors, pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment
Human immunodeficiency virus, hepatitis B virus, and hepatitis C virus are three blood-borne viruses that can cause major global health issues by increasing severe morbidity. There is a high risk of coinfection with these viruses in individuals because of their same transmission routes through blood using shared needles, syringes, other injection equipment, sexual transmission, or even vertical transmission. Coinfection can cause various liver-related illnesses, non-hepatic organ dysfunction, followed by death compared to any of these single infections. The treatment of coinfected patients is complicated due to the side effects of antiviral medication, resulting in drug resistance, hepatotoxicity, and a lack of required responses. On the other hand, coinfected individuals must be treated with multiple drugs simultaneously, such as for HIV either along with HBV or HCV and HBV and HCV. Therefore, diagnosing, treating, and controlling dual infections with HIV, HBV, or HCV is complicated and needs further investigation. This review focuses on the current prevalence, risk factors, and pathogenesis of dual infections with HIV, HBV, and HCV. We also briefly overviewed the diagnosis and treatment of coinfections of these three blood-borne viruses
