Light-front quark model analysis of heavy meson radiative decays
We present the magnetic dipole() transitions of various
heavy-flavored mesons such as and
using the light-front quark model
constrained by the variational principle for the QCD-motivated effective
Hamiltonian. The weak decay constants of heavy mesons and the decay widths for
are calculated. The radiative decay for
process is found to be very helpful to determine
the unmeasured mass of . Our numerical results are overall in good
agreement with the available experimental data as well as other theoretical
model calculations.Comment: 6pages, 4figures; Talk given at 10th Asia Pacific Physics Conference

Decay constants and radiative decays of heavy mesons in light-front quark model
We investigate the magnetic dipole decays of various
heavy-flavored mesons such as and
using the light-front quark model
constrained by the variational principle for the QCD-motivated effective
Hamiltonian. The momentum dependent form factors for decays are obtained in the frame and then analytically
continued to the timelike region by changing to in the form factors. The coupling constant for real
photon case is then obtained in the limit as , i.e.
. The weak decay constants of heavy pseudoscalar
and vector mesons are also calculated. Our numerical results for the decay
constants and radiative decay widths for the heavy-flavored mesons are overall
in good agreement with the available experimental data as well as other
theoretical model calculations.Comment: 9 pages, 3figures, added few more references, typos correcte
Scaling of Coulomb pseudo-potential in s-wave narrow-band superconductors
The Coulomb pseudo-potential is extracted by fitting the numerically
calculated transition temperature of the Eliashberg-Nambu equation which
is extended to incorporate the narrow-band effects, that is, the vertex
correction and the frequency dependence of the screened Coulomb interaction. It
is shown that even for narrow-band superconductors, where the fermi energy is comparable with the phonon frequency , the Coulomb
pseudo-potential is a pertinent parameter, and is still given by , provided is
appropriately scaled.Comment: 5 pages, 3 figures, accepted for publication by Phys. Rev.
Exploring Timelike Region of QCD Exclusive Processes in Relativistic Quark Model
We investigate the form factors and decay rates of exclusive
semileptonic meson decays using the constituent quark model based on the
light-front quantization. Our model is constrained by the variational principle
for the linear plus Coulomb interaction motivated by QCD. Our numerical results
are in a good agreement with the available experimental data.Comment: 6 pages, Latex with 2 figures: Talk given at the 12th Nuclear Physics
