    A STUDY ON FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE CHOICE OF MALAYSIAN INSTITUTION OF HIGHER LEARNING FOR INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE STUDENTS

    The aim of this study was to determine the factors that influence the choice of institution for international graduate students. This research has looked at the pulling factors which influences international student choosing to study in Malaysia in terms of environments, emotional support, finances, academic qualities, location and culture. The population with 344 respondents chosen for this exercise comes from Universiti Putra Malaysia, Universiti Utara Malaysia, Universiti Islam  Antarabangsa Malaysia, Universiti Malaya, Universiti Sains Malaysia and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. The research instrument utilized in this research was a questionnaire and the results obtained were analysed using descriptive statistics and correlation methods. The results from of this study reveal that factors that influence choice of institution are emotional support, environment quality, finance and culture.     EFFECTIVENESS OF ENTREPRENEURIAL LEADERSHIP STYLES IN IMPROVING SMIs MANUFACTURING BUMIPUTERA TECHNOPRENEURS PERFORMANCE IN MELAKA

    Understanding effectiveness entrepreneurial leadership styles were important for theoretical and practical reasons because Bumiputera technopreneurial leaders were the individual that need to lead small and medium industries (SMIs) in today’s innovative and dynamic market in Melaka. The objective of this study was to examine the effectiveness of entrepreneurial leadership styles in impoving SMIs manufacturing bumiputera technopreneurs performance in Melaka. The research had identified the certain personality traits, behaviors, competencies technopreneurial leaders. There were positive and significant relationship between entrepreneurial leadership styles namely transformational leadership style, transactional leadership style and charismatic style with entrepreneurial leaders’ personality traits, entrepreneurial leaders’ behaviours, entrepreneurial leaders’ competencies, entrepreneurial leaders’ monitoring companies’ operation and entrepreneurial leaders’ monitoring companies’ performance. The analysis shown that Bumiputera technopreneurial leaders and entrepreneurial leaders’ monitoring operation and performance among the Bumiputera can use it’s to evaluate SMIs success and ventures success. Also practitioners of high-risk lending may be interested in methods of assessing entrepreneurial leadership that can be introduced into their risk calculus and potentially improve the likelihood of higher returns of their venture in investments. Thus, charismatic leadership style was found most highly related to entrepreneurial leaders’ personality traits, entrepreneurial leaders’ behaviours, entrepreneurial leaders’ competencies, entrepreneurial leaders’ monitoring companies’ operation and entrepreneurial leaders’ monitoring companies’ performance followed by transactional leadership style and transformational leadership style. The conclusion, the research had provide insights for team building in executives’ teams of SMIs, for example providing guidance in finding team members that can make unique contributions via their personality traits, behaviors, competencies and ways to monitor SMIs operation and performance.     The purpose of this research is to examine the level of knowledge, perception and acceptance among the public towards programs organized by Rukun Tetangga (RT The programs organized include social. This study looks at the correlation analysis between demographic variables of the respondent with the level of knowledge, perceptions and public acceptance towards the program. In brief, this research tries to answer the question of how far is the effectiveness of RT in organizing activities to promote unity among our community. It is considered as beneficial development in order to identify the RT's direction in the future. The research is done in a few districts in Selangor and Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. The selected areas are chosen due to the existence of diversified characteristics of the community that is relevant to the research needs. The characteristics include the aspect of different races and the distribution of location as they are thought to be a threat towards the solidarity among the main races. Moreover, the location is identified because it is the highest in population in the country. The research shows that the knowledge level, perception and public acceptance toward the programs organized by RT are generally high. This result can be used as an indicator that RT is a success entity in all situations. It has also increased harmony and contributed to national integration among Malaysians.
