Maximal rank of extremal marginal tracial states
States on coupled quantum system whose restrictions to each subsystems are
normalized traces are called marginal tracial states. We investigate extremal
marginal tracial states and maximal rank of such states. Diagonal marginal
tracial states are also considered.Comment: 10 page
Quasi-orthogonal subalgebras of matrix algebras
We investigate pairwise quasi-orthogonal subalgebras in which
are isomorphic to for , and a prime number
with . We prove there exist such subalgebras and
they span .Comment: 12page
Unitary equivalence classes of one-dimensional quantum walks II
This study investigated the unitary equivalence classes of one-dimensional quantum walks with and without initial states. We determined the unitary equivalence classes of one-dimensional quantum walks, two-phase quantum walks with one defect, complete two-phase quantum walks, one-dimensional quantum walks with one defect and translation-invariant one-dimensional quantum walks.ArticleQuantum Information Processing.16(12):287(2017)journal articl
Parameterization of Translation-Invariant Two-Dimensional Two-State Quantum Walks
This study investigates unitary equivalence classes of translation-invariant two-dimensional two-state quantum walks. We show that unitary equivalence classes of such quantum walks are essentially parameterized by two real parameters.ArticleActa Mathematica Vietnamica.43(4):737-747(2018)journal articl
Examples of conditional SIC-POVMs
The state of a quantum system is a density matrix with several parameters. The concern herein is how to recover the parameters. Several possibilities exist for the optimal recovery method, and we consider some special cases. We assume that a few parameters are known and that the others are to be recovered. The optimal positive-operator-valued measure (POVM) for recovering unknown parameters with an additional condition is called a conditional symmetric informationally complete POVM (SIC-POVM). In this paper, we study the existence or nonexistence of conditional SIC-POVMs. We provide a necessary condition for existence and some examples.ArticleQUANTUM INFORMATION PROCESSING. 14(10):3983-3999 (2015)journal articl
Non-commutative hypergroup of order five
We prove that all hypergroups of order four are commutative and that there
exists a non-comutative hypergroup of order five. These facts imply that the
minimum order of non-commutative hypergroups is five even though the minimum
order of non-commutative groups is six
Quantum Markov fields on graphs
We introduce generalized quantum Markov states and generalized d-Markov
chains which extend the notion quantum Markov chains on spin systems to that on
-algebras defined by general graphs. As examples of generalized d-Markov
chains, we construct the entangled Markov fields on tree graphs. The concrete
examples of generalized d-Markov chains on Cayley trees are also investigated.Comment: 23 pages, 1 figure. accepted to "Infinite Dimensional Anal. Quantum
