An estimate of necessary effort in the development of software projects

For this purpose different ways of measurement such as Unes of code and function points, generally addressed to relate software size with project cost (effort) have been used. In this work we are presenting a research project that deals with this field, us'mg machine learning techniques to predict the software project cost. Several public set of data are used. The analysed sets of data only relate the effort invested in the development of software projects and the size of the resultant code. For this reason, we can say that the data used are poor. Despite that, the results obtained are good, because they improve the ones obtained in previous analyses. In order to get results closer to reality we should find data sets of a bigger size that take into account more variables, thus offering more possibilities to obtain solutions in a more efficient way.Publicad

Auge, queda e renascimento da tradição exegética carolíngia. Observações a respeito da transmissão da cultura beneditina entre os séculos VIII e XX

During the High the Middle Ages the main centers of thought were, or were influenced, by the cultural and theological tradition of the monasteries. The Carolingian biblical exegesis belongs to that tradition. This study explores the becoming of the exegetical texts that forms that tradition, from its production to its modern use as sources for the study of early medieval culture during the twentieth century.En la Alta Edad Media los principales centros de pensamiento eran o estaban influidos por la tradición cultural y teológica de los monasterios. La exegesis bíblica carolingia pertenece a esa tradición. El presente estudio indaga en le devenir de ese conjunto de textos exegéticos que conforma esa tradición, desde su producción hasta su utilización moderna como fuentes para el estudio de la cultura letrada altomedieval durante el siglo XX
