Energy flow observables in hadronic collisions
We present recent QCD calculations of energy flow distributions associated
with the production of jets at wide rapidity separations in high-energy hadron
collisions, and discuss the role of these observables to analyze contributions
from parton showering and from multiple parton collisions.Comment: 6 pages, 4 figures. Contribution at MPI@LHC201
Resummed Predictions for the Structure Function F2 at Small x
We report the results of including resummed splitting functions in the QCD
evolution equations at small x, and discuss the predictions that follow for the
deep inelastic structure functions.

Endpoint singularities in unintegrated parton distributions
We examine the singular behavior from the endpoint region x -> 1 in parton
distributions unintegrated in both longitudinal and transverse momenta. We
identify and regularize the singularities by using the subtraction method, and
compare this with the cut-off regularization method. The counterterms for the
distributions with subtractive regularization are given in coordinate space by
compact all-order expressions in terms of eikonal-line operators. We carry out
an explicit calculation at one loop for the unintegrated quark distribution. We
discuss the relation of the unintegrated parton distributions in subtractive
regularization with the ordinary parton distributions
Next-to-Leading Corrections at Small X from Quark Evolution
Deep inelastic processes at small x are discussed in the framework of
perturbative QCD at high energy. New results are presented on the quark
anomalous dimensions beyond the leading logarithmic approximation, and their
relevance to the structure functions being measured at HERA is pointed out.

Parton showers beyond the leading order: a factorization approach
We discuss recent work on methods for incorporating nonleading QCD
corrections in parton shower algorithms.Comment: Talk at the DPF2000 Meeting, August 200
High-multiplicity final states and transverse-momentum dependent parton showering at hadron colliders
If large-angle multigluon radiation gives significant contributions to parton
showers in the LHC high-energy region, appropriate generalizations of parton
branching methods are required for Monte Carlo simulations of exclusive
high-multiplicity final states.
We discuss the use in this context of transverse-momentum dependent kernels
which factorize in the region of high energies. We give examples based on ep
and p pbar multi-jet data, and point to possible developments for distributions
associated with massive final states at the LHC.Comment: 8 pages. Latex. Presented at Photon 200
