The level of stress is an important factor that may have impact on the employees’ behavior. Undesirable level of stress affects overall performance of the organization. In order to getting the work done effectively, organization or manager should properly manage the level of stress. For my research, one of the most important factor the “stress” is taken and to know how they affect on the employees performance. In order to conduct this study effectively, District Secretariat Jaffna was selected. In this research, the main problem is that whether employee’ stress affects their work performance. In order to analyse this problem, data was collected form the employees of District Secretarial Jaffna by questionnaire, records and observation. The gathered data was analyzed based on the statistical tools such as correlation analysis, regression analysis, F test and T test. In my research, three factors were viewed that determine the stress level of employees such as, job related factors, organizational factors and individual factors. According to the analyzed data, it was proved that there is negative relationship between employees’ stress and their performance. That is when employees’ stress level increase their work performance will decrease and vive- verse. Hypotheses were tested by correlation-regression analysis F test and T test. According to the testing of hypotheses, hypothesis (H2) has been accepted.. That is, employees’ stress has an impact in their performance. At the same time, hypothesis (H1) also has been accepted in my research based on the percentage analysis. That is high level of stress exist among employees in District Secretariat Jaffna. Most of the employees experience low level stress. It is also a problem, because at the low level stress, performances of the employees are also low level. It has been proved in the data analysis. Therefore stress level of employees should be managed at optimum level. The optimum level of stress will lead to high level of performance. Each year new research is published that explores various factors of leadership. New teaching aids and devices appear which are designed to improve one’s leadership abilities. All of this activity should indicate that today’s practicing manager knows a great deal about the leadership process; however this is not tour. Many managers appear to experience difficulty performing effectively in leadership roles. As the above quote states, leadership is and must be a concern of society and organizations In this connection, a research question is formulated that whether leadership style of principals and Teacher’s Behavior in Kilinochchi zone Schools. For this study Kilinochchi zone schools was selected and one hundred and twenty eight teachers out of five hundred and eleven employees were also selected as sample. Then data were collected from selected sample. With the help of these collected data, data presentation and data analysis were made to test (a) the relationship between people oriented leadership style of principals and teacher’s behavior (b) the relationship between task oriented leadership style of principals and teacher’s behavior. Teacher’s behavior explains teacher’s satisfaction performance and absenteeism.Analysis showed, a positive correlation between people oriented leadership style of principals and teacher’s satisfaction, performance and absenteeism.  Negative correlation between task oriented leadership style of principals and teacher’s satisfaction performance and absenteeism F test proved that there is a relationship between three variables. This result is true with 95%. Then the formulated hypotheses were accepted at 5% significance level. Previous studies rarely examined the relationships among work-life balance, organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and organizational performance. Moreover, most studies neglect the mediating effect of OCB in the relationship between work-life balance and organizational performance. Hence, this paper aims to examine the relationships among work-life balance, OCB and organizational performance and the mediating effect of OCB in the relationship between work-life balance and organizational performance. In order to achieve the study objectives, primary data were collected from 166 employees in selected private banks which are operating in Batticaloa district of Sri Lanka. The simple mediation analysis was used to test the research model. Findings of the study revealed that, there are positive and significant relationships exist among the study variables. Moreover, empirical finding of the study indicated that OCB mediates the relationship between work-life balance and organizational performance. The empirical findings of the study support the theoretical argument of the study. The current study is considered to be vital in understanding the empirical knowledge regarding the relationships among work-life balance, organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and organizational performance

INTRODUCTION: Fractures of proximal humerus account for about 4 to 5% of all fractures. It is the third most common fracture after hip fracture and colles fracture in elderly patients. As the technology has advanced, the elderly people no longer need to be denied effective surgical treatment. AIM OF THE STUDY: In our study we have analysed 20 cases of proximal humeral fractures treated surgically using (PHILOS) proximal humerus locking compression plates admitted at Department of Orthopaedics Government Royapettah Hospital, Chennai from June 2018 to December 2020. The aim of the study was to analyze the functional and radiological outcome and to assess the complications of proximal humeral fractures treated using PHILOS plate. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Patients with proximal humerus fractures, who are skeletally mature and age more than 18 years with Neer’ s two, three and four part fractures were included in the study. Patients with open fractures, pathological fractures, with associated vascular head injury were not included. All patients were evaluated with standard anteroposterior radiographs of the affected shoulder and most of them were further evaluated with Neer’s three view trauma. CT Scan taken if needed. Radiological evaluation of the fractures was done and were classified according to Neer’s four part classification system. 4 patients had two part fractures, 11 had 3 part fractures and 5 had four part fractures. The patients were operated by the standard anterior deltopectoral approach using proximal humerus PHILOS plate. All the patients were reviewed once weekly in the 1st month and once a month after that. During follow up, patients were clinically evaluated for pain and function using DASH score. The minimum follow-up period was three months and maximum follow up period was 18 months. Radiological evaluation of fracture union was observed by serial x rays. RESULTS AND OBSERVATION: Majority of injured patients were males (75%). Free fall at ground level was the most common mode of injury (65%). Neer’s 3 part fracture is the most common type in 55% patient. 4 part fractures accounted for only 5% of patients. Early complications like superficial infection and screw penetration were encountered. Late complications osteonecrosis and joint stiffness were encountered. DASH score was used to assess the functional outcome of our patients. 8 (40%) patients had good functional outcome 10 (50%) patients had satisfactory outcome and 2 (10%) patients had poor outcome. CONCLUSION: Finally we concluded that Accurate anatomical reduction and early fracture fixation are more important to get a good final functional outcome. Use of shorter screws than subchondral screws closer to the joint prevented failure. Adherence to regular and graduated rehabilitation program is the key for good functional outcome
