Influence of CP and CPT on production and decay of Dirac and Majorana fermions

The consequences of CP and CPT invariance for production and subsequent decay of Dirac and Majorana fermions in polarized fermion--antifermion annihilation are analytically studied. We derive general symmetry relations for the production spin density matrix and for the three--particle decay matrices and obtain constraints for the polarization and the spin--spin correlations of Dirac and Majorana fermions. We prove that only for Majorana fermions the energy and opening angle distribution factorizes exactly into contributions from production and decay if CP is conserved.Comment: 21 pages, 3 eps figures, to be published in EPJ

Distinguishing between MSSM and NMSSM with e\gamma Scattering

We study the associated production of selectrons and neutralinos with subsequent leptonic decay of the selectron in e\gamma scattering within the framework of MSSM and NMSSM. Due to the weak couplings of singlino dominated neutralinos, associated neutralino production e^+ + e^- -> neutralino_1 + neutralino_2 at a linear collider can be strongly suppressed in some regions of the parameter space. Then the process e + gamma -> selectron_{L/R} + neutralino_{1/2} -> e + neutralino_{1/2} + neutralino_1 can give additional informations on the underlying theory and the character of neutralino_1 and neutralino_2.Comment: 7 pages, 7 figeres, LaTex, Talk Given at the International Workshop on High Energy Photon Colliders, DESY Hamburg, June 14-17, 200

CP-odd observables in neutralino production with transverse e+ and e- beam polarization

We consider neutralino production and decay e^+e^ --> chi^0_i chi^0_j, chi^0_j --> chi^0_1 f \bar{f} at a linear collider with transverse e^+ and e^- beam polarization. We propose CP asymmetries by means of the azimuthal distribution of the produced neutralinos and of that of the final leptons, while taking also into account the subsequent decays of the neutralinos. We include the complete spin correlations between production and decay. Our framework is the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with complex parameters. In a numerical study we show that there are good prospects to observe these CP asymmetries at the International Linear Collider and estimate the accuracy expected for the determination of the phases in the neutralino sector.Comment: 30 pages, minor changes in the introduction, references adde
