Based on MIPv6 with Support to Improve the Mobile Commerce Transaction
Mobile Commerce is anticipated to be the next business revolution. Under the trend of mobile age, a person begins to realize the benefits of transaction by mobility operations. We can access information, shop and bank on line, work from home and speak and send messages via mobile appliances throughout all over the world. The research that is mobile transaction managing on database has begun since 1950 and skips the Link and Network Layer with support to improve mobile commerce. This paper focus on how effectually to make the new generation of mobile network protocol apply on mobile commerce and improve the mainly four properties required by mobile transactions. The four properties are respectively atomicity, consistency, isolation and durability. The purpose based on the mobile commerce environment and making mobile transactions complete and personal by means of the Destination Extension Header based on IPv6 and the Java Transaction Service. After experiment and testing, this paper verify that we improve the mobile commerce environment and make the mobile transaction more complete with the optimization of the Destination Extension Header based on IPv6 and the Java Transaction Service under the comparison with the environment on IPv4
Federated Learning of Shareable Bases for Personalization-Friendly Image Classification
Personalized federated learning (PFL) aims to harness the collective wisdom
of clients' data while building personalized models tailored to individual
clients' data distributions. Existing works offer personalization primarily to
clients who participate in the FL process, making it hard to encompass new
clients who were absent or newly show up. In this paper, we propose FedBasis, a
novel PFL framework to tackle such a deficiency. FedBasis learns a set of few
shareable ``basis'' models, which can be linearly combined to form personalized
models for clients. Specifically for a new client, only a small set of
combination coefficients, not the model weights, needs to be learned. This
notion makes FedBasis more parameter-efficient, robust, and accurate than
competitive PFL baselines, especially in the low data regime, without
increasing the inference cost. To demonstrate the effectiveness and
applicability of FedBasis, we also present a more practical PFL testbed for
image classification, featuring larger data discrepancies across clients in
both the image and label spaces as well as more faithful training and test
splits.Comment: Preprin
Virus-induced gene complementation reveals a transcription factor network in modulation of tomato fruit ripening
Plant virus technology, in particular virus-induced gene silencing, is a widely used reverse- and forward-genetics tool in plant functional genomics. However the potential of virus technology to express genes to induce phenotypes or to complement mutants in order to understand the function of plant genes is not well documented. Here we exploit Potato virus X as a tool for virus-induced gene complementation (VIGC). Using VIGC in tomato, we demonstrated that ectopic viral expression of LeMADS-RIN, which encodes a MADS-box transcription factor (TF), resulted in functional complementation of the non-ripening rin mutant phenotype and caused fruits to ripen. Comparative gene expression analysis indicated that LeMADS-RIN up-regulated expression of the SBP-box (SQUAMOSA promoter binding protein-like) gene LeSPL-CNR, but down-regulated the expression of LeHB-1, an HD-Zip homeobox TF gene. Our data support the hypothesis that a transcriptional network may exist among key TFs in the modulation of fruit ripening in tomato
COMPARISON OF ANTI-INFLAMMATORY AND ANTI-NOCICEPTIVE ACTIVITIES OF CURCUMA WENYUJIN Y.H. CHEN ET C. LING AND SCUTELLARIA BAICALENSIS GEORGI
The study aimed to compare the anti-inflammatory and anti-nociceptive activities of Curcuma wenyujin Y.H. Chen et C. Ling (Curcuma wenyujin) and Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi (Scutellaria baicalensis). This study used three parts to compare the two herbs. Firstly, animals were randomly divided into a Scutellaria baicalensis group, a Curcuma wenyujin group, an indomethacin group, and a model-control group to perform an ear edema test, a carrageenin-induced paw edema test, a cotton pellet-induced granuloma formation test, and an acetic acid-induced writhing test. Secondly, model rats with pelvic inflammation were established, and the serum levels of TNF-α and IL-6 in each group was detected with the Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). Thirdly, pharmacokinetics analysis of Scutellaria baicalensis and Curcuma wenyujin was conducted on the model rats. The ear edema test, carrageenin-induced paw edema test, cotton pellet-induced granuloma formation test, and acetic acid-induced writhing test all showed that Curcuma wenyujin had stronger anti-inflammatory and anti-nociceptive effects than Scutellaria baicalensis. There is significant difference between the effects of Curcuma wenyujin and Scutellaria baicalensis on the levels of TNF-α and IL-6 for the model rats. Curcuma wenyujin decreased the levels of TNF-α and IL-6 more than Scutellaria baicalensis. The pharmacokinetics analysis showed that curcumol’s Tmax, Cmax, and the area under the curve (AUC) were all higher than baicalin’s. This study indicated that for pelvic inflammation, Curcuma wenyujin had better anti-inflammatory and anti-nociceptive effects than Scutellaria baicalensis
Case report: Successful treatment of non-bullous lichen planus pemphigoides with dupilumab
Lichen planus pemphigoides (LPP) is a rare autoimmune bullous disease, characterized by the coexistence of lichen planus and subepidermal bullae. However, the minority of LPP patients present with papules rather than vesicles or blisters, which is defined as non-bullous LPP. The diagnosis of LPP relies on manifestations, histopathology, serological assay, and direct immunofluorescence of linear disposition of IgG and/or C3 at the basement membrane zone. Up to now, no standard therapeutic strategies have been proposed for the treatment of LPP. Herein, we describe an uncommon non-bullous LPP patient with widespread papules and erythema, probably induced by vaccination. During hospitalization, he had a poor response to the conventional treatment of topical and systemic corticosteroids, and his condition was finally alleviated by the addition of dupilumab. For LPP patients with a traditional medication failure, or who were not suitable for a higher dose of corticosteroids, a combination with dupilumab could be an alternative option
Tumor volume of resectable gastric adenocarcinoma on multidetector computed tomography: association with N categories
OBJECTIVE: To determine whether the gross tumor volume of resectable gastric adenocarcinoma on multidetector computed tomography could predict the presence of regional lymph node metastasis and could determine N categories. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A total of 202 consecutive patients with gastric adenocarcinoma who had undergone gastrectomy 1 week after contrast-enhanced multidetector computed tomography were retrospectively identified. The gross tumor volume was evaluated on multidetector computed tomography images. Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to determine whether the gross tumor volume could predict regional lymph node metastasis, and the Mann-Whitney U test was performed to compare the gross tumor volume among N categories. Additionally, a receiver operating characteristic analysis was performed to identify the accuracy of the gross tumor volume in differentiating N categories. RESULTS: The gross tumor volume could predict regional lymph node metastasis (

Here, we show that orphan nuclear receptor Nur77 (also known as TR3) can enhance resistance to lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced sepsis in mice by inhibiting NF-κB activity and suppressing aberrant cytokine production. Nur77 directly associates with p65 to block its binding to the κB element. However, this function of Nur77 is countered by the LPS-activated p38α phosphorylation of Nur77. Dampening the interaction between Nur77 and p38α would favor Nur77 suppression of the hyperinflammatory response. A compound, n-pentyl 2-[3,5-dihydroxy-2-(1-nonanoyl) phenyl]acetate, screened from a Nur77-biased library, blocked the Nur77-p38α interaction by targeting the ligand-binding domain of Nur77 and restored the suppression of the hyperinflammatory response through Nur77 inhibition of NF-κB. This study associates the nuclear receptor with immune homeostasis and implicates a new therapeutic strategy to treat hyperinflammatory responses by targeting a p38α substrate to modulate p38α-regulated functions. This work was supported by grants from the National Natural Science Fund of China, the '973' Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology (91413113, 2014CB910602, 31370724, 31221065) and the Program of Introducing Talents of Discipline to Universities (B12001).
