Se recopilo informaci贸n del registro computacional PIG CHAMP perteneciente a la granja porc铆cola San Diego, para estimar los siguientes par谩metros: N煤mero de lechones nacidos por camada, peso al nacimiento por lech贸n, lechones muertos al nacimiento, 聽n煤mero de fetos聽 momificados por camada, lechones 聽destetos 聽por camada, lechones 聽 muertos聽 en pre-destete, peso al destete 聽por lech贸n, edad al destete, aparici贸n del celo post-destete, intervalo entre partos, partos por cerda / a帽o y lechones destetos por cerda / a帽o. La informaci贸n recolectada 聽fue analizada 聽mediante 聽estad铆stica descriptiva, 聽encontr谩ndose los siguientes par谩metros: N煤mero de lechones 聽nacidos 聽por camada, 10,02 卤 0,1; 聽peso al nacimiento, 聽1,48卤 0,05卤 kg; lechones muertos al nacimiento, 聽0,84卤 0,2;聽 聽fetos momificados por camada, 0,33 卤 0,15; lechones destetos por camada, 8,8卤 1,3; 聽lechones muertos en pre-destete, 1,15 卤 0,6; 聽peso al destete; 聽aparici贸n del celo post- destete, 9卤聽 聽0,12 d铆as; intervalo entre partos, 聽152卤 0,83 d铆as; partos por cerda/ a帽o 2.5卤 0,01 y lechones destetos por cerda / a帽o, 19.8卤 0,33.     GRANO DE SOYA INTEGRAL TOSTADO EN LA ALIMENTACI脫N DE CODORNICES

    RESUMEN: En la Universidad de los Llanos, fue realizado un experimento con el objetivo de evaluar el efecto del grano de soya integral tostado sobre los par谩metros productivos de codornices japonesas durante 24 semanas, la fase experimental se dividi贸 en 6 periodos de 28 d铆as cada uno. Las codornices fueron distribuidas en un dise帽o experimental Completamente al azar, distribuidos en 5 tratamientos, 5 repeticiones y 10 codornices por repetici贸n, la unidad experimental estuvo constituida por la jaula. Fueron formuladas 5 dietas experimentales con 0, 5, 10, 15 y 20% de inclusi贸n de grano de soya integral tostado. El grano de soya fue sometido a tostado a 120潞C, durante 2 minutos. Las dietas experimentales estaban compuestas de ma铆z, harina de arroz, harina de carne, torta de soya, vitaminas, minerales y grano de soya integral tostado. Las codornices fueron alojadas en jaulas distribuidas en bater铆as, agua y alimento fue suministrado a voluntad. Los resultados fueron sometidos a an谩lisis de varianza. Los resultados de postura fueron 63,02; 62,9; 60,09; 62,22 y 59,75%; de peso del huevo 10,45; 10,45; 10,48; 10,53 y 10,42 g; de consumo de raci贸n diario 24,63; 23,91; 24,12; 23,52 y 24,65 g; de Kg. de raci贸n/docenas de huevo 0,46; 0,46; 0,48 y 0,49; de Kg. de raci贸n/Kg. de huevo producido 3,74; 3,64; 4,12; 3,67 y 4,13; de huevos con c谩scara rota 0,46; 0,80; 0,52; 0,56 y 0,66%; de huevos entelados 1,50; 1,72; 1,40; 1,56 y 2,28 para los tratamientos con 0 (testigo), 5; 10; 15 y 20% de inclusi贸n de grano de soya integral tostado.En conclusi贸n: la inclusi贸n de diferentes niveles de grano de soya integral tostado en la raci贸n de codornices japonesas, no present贸 diferencias significativas para las variables consumo de raci贸n, postura, peso del huevo, conversi贸n alimenticia y presentaci贸n de huevos rotos y entelados. Were formulated five diets experimental with increasing levels of soybean (0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%). The grain of soybean was toasted to 120掳C, for two minutes. Experimental diets were composed by corn, rice, soybean meal, vitamin, mineral and grain of soybean. The quail were allotted in cage and submitted ad libitum fed and water. The results of egg production were 63,02; 62,9; 60,09; 62,22 and 59,75%; egg weight 10,45; 10,45; 10,48; 10,53 and 10,42g; feed intake 24,63; 23,91; 24,12; 23,52 and 24,65g; feed to egg dozen ratio 0,46; 0,46; 0,48 and 0,49; feed to egg mass ratio 3,74; 3,64; 4,12; 3,67 and 4,13; eggs with shell broken 0,46; 0,80; 0,52; 0,56 and 0,66%; eggs without shell 1,50; 1,72; 1,40; 1,56 y 2,28 for treatments with 0 (control), 5; 10; 15 and 20% 聽of grain whole soybean toasted.It was concluded that the grain of soybean toasted in the diet had not different significant (P>0,05) in intake of food, ratio Kg of diet/dozen of eggs, eggs production, eggs weight, eggs with shell broken.     Utilizaci贸n de materias primas regionales en la alimentaci贸n de equinos criollos adultos en el municipio de Villavicencio

    Titulo en ingles: Use of regional raw materials in the feeding of equine mature creoles in the municipality of Villavicencio.RESUMEN:聽 El presente trabajo fue realizado en Catama, Municipio de聽 Villavicencio. Se utilizaron 9 caballos criollos, adultos, machos,聽 castrados. El ensayo fue dividido en dos fases en las que se evaluaron tres raciones; 1. Raci贸n comercial, como testigo; 2.Raci贸n con 12,4% de pica de arroz y sin aceite crudo de palma africana, ACPA 聽y 3. Raci贸n con 0,86% de ACPA y 20,8% de pica de arroz. Fue聽聽 empleado 聽un dise帽o experimental 聽 totalmente 聽al azar de tres tratamientos con tres 聽repeticiones. 聽En la聽 primera 聽fase 聽experimental 聽se 聽eval煤o聽 ganancia 聽de聽 peso, 聽condici贸n聽 corporal y estado 聽f铆sico. En la segunda 聽fase se determin贸聽 la聽 digestibilidad total aparente de las raciones, 聽por el m茅todo de colecta聽 total de heces; tambi茅n se estim贸 la prote铆na s茅rica total pre y聽 postprandial 聽en horas 0, 1, 2, 3 聽y 聽4. 聽No se encontraron 聽diferencias significativas (P>0.05) en la ganancia 聽de peso ni en la digestibilidad de las diferentes 聽raciones. 聽Los valores de las prote铆nas 聽s茅ricas 聽totales 聽fue similar en todos聽 los tratamientos. Nine adult creoles castrated male horses were used. The feeding trial was divided in two phases聽 during which three different rations were evaluated; 聽1. a commercially prepared 聽ration was聽 used as a control; 2. a ration with 12.4% of rice fibres by product (pica)聽 without palm oil; 3. a ration with 0,86% of palm oil and 20,8% of rice fibres by product(pica). These rations were used at random in an experimental 聽design of three treatments with three repetitions. 聽In the first聽 experimental 聽phase, 聽the 聽horses 聽were聽 evaluated 聽for weight聽 gain, 聽 corporal 聽condition, 聽and 聽physical 聽state. During the second phase, 聽 apparent total digestibility was determined 聽by the method of total聽 collection of feces, and also total serum protein was also measured in the聽 three treatments pre and postprandial 聽in hours 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4. No聽 significant differences (P >0.05) where encountered 聽in the weight gains,聽 nor in the digestibility of the different rations. The data of the total serum聽 protein was similar in all the treatments.     Az煤car de ca帽a ( Saccharum officinarum ) en substituci贸n de ma铆z como fuente de energ铆a para pollos asaderos en fase de terminaci贸n

    Was carried an experiment with the objetive to evaluate the use of five levels of sugar (0, 4, 8, 16 and 32%) in substitution to the corn in the feed of broilers in the finishing phase. 320 chickens with 22 days of age, were randomly distributed for 20 box. The birds received water and feed ad libitum in all experimental period. The diets were isonetrogenous an isocaloric. The performance of the birds was evalueted. The birds were weigthed at 42 days of age and four birds of each experimental unit, two males and two females, were kept without food for a 12 hours. After this period the birds were slaughtered and eviscerated and carcass weight and yield as wells cuts yield were collected. Water, protein and body fat were observed. There was quadratic effect or the ration consumption, being 20.73 the point of maximum intake. The sugar influenced in a positive lineal way the weight and abdominal fat of the males. In the females negative lineal effect was for chest yield. With relations to the fat deposition and protein in the carcass, the levels of sugar didn麓t influence in the males, in the females they caused positive linear effect for the fat body deposition.Fue realizado un experimento con el objetivo evaluar la utilizaci贸n de cinco niveles de az煤car (0, 4, 8, 16 y 32%) en substituci贸n del ma铆z en la alimentaci贸n de pollos asaderos en fase de terminaci贸n. 320 pollos con 22 d铆as de edad, fueron distribuidos al acaso en 20 lotes. Las aves recibieron agua y alimento a voluntad durante toda la fase experimental, las raciones fueron isoprot茅icas e isocal贸ricas. Fueron evaluadas las caracter铆sticas de desempe帽o; a los 42 d铆as de edad las aves fueron pesadas y retiradas 4 de cada unidad experimental, dos machos y dos hembras, que posteriomente fueron sometidas a ayuno de 12 horas y luego sacrificadas y evisceradas, para evaluar peso y rendimiento de canal y de cortes nobles. Tambien fueron observados los contenidos de agua, prote铆na y grasa corporal. Hubo efecto cuadr谩tico para consumo de raci贸n, siendo 20.73 el punto de maxima ingesti贸n. El az煤car influy贸 de forma lineal positiva sobre el peso y rendimiento de grasa abdominal en los machos. En la hembras hubo efecto lineal negativo para rendimiento de pechuga. Los niveles de az煤car no influenciaron los contenidos de grasa y prote铆na en la canal de machos, en la hembras causaron efecto lineal positivo en la cantidad de gordura corporal

    Efecto de diferentes niveles diet茅ticos de lisina total sobre la calidad del huevo de codornices japonesas ( Coturnix japonica )

    The effects on Japanese quail egg quality of rations containing 18% crude protein and five levels of total lysine (0.6%, 0.8%, 1%, 1.2%, and 1.4%) were evaluated using 400 birds, 70 d of age and 134.8 卤 3.6 g initial live weight, during a 84-d experiment divided into three 28 d periods. Significant (P < 0.05) quadriatic effects of lysine level were found on egg weight (10.69 g overall mean), weight of egg shell and of yolk, but not of albumin; and percentage of total egg weight constituted by yolk (29.87 mean), and by albumin (61.82 mean), but not by shell (8.3 mean). The treatments did not affect egg shell thickness (0.241 mm mean). The best result was obtained in each case with a lysine level near 1%. As the three periods progressed the absolute and percentage weight of egg shell and its thickness decreased while the opposite occurred with yolk weight.Se evalu贸 el efecto sobre la calidad de huevo de codornices japonesas de raciones de 18% prote铆na bruta (PB) y con cinco niveles de lisina total (0.6, 0.8, 1, 1.2 y 1.4%), usando 400 aves, de 70 d de edad y peso medio inicial de 134.8 卤 3.6 g, durante 84 d divididos en tres per铆odos experimentales de 28 d cada uno. Se detectaron efectos cuadr谩ticos significativos (P < 0.05) de los niveles de lisina sobre peso de huevo (10.69 g media global), de c谩scara y de yemas, pero no de albumen; y porcentaje del peso total constituido por yema (29.87 media) y albumen (61.82 media), pero no por c谩scara (8.3 media). Los tratamientos no afectaron el grosor de la c谩scara (0.241 mm media). Se obtuvo el mejor resultado en cada caso con un nivel de lisina cercano al 1%. Al transcurrir los tres periodos el peso absoluto y porcentual de la c谩scara y su grosor decrecieron mientras ocurri贸 lo contrario con el peso de yema
