Temperature at Horizon in de Sitter Spacetime
It is found that there is no period in the imaginary Beltrami-time of the de
Sitter spacetime with Beltrami metric and that the `surface-gravity' in view of
inertial observers in de Sitter spacetime is zero! They show that the horizon
might be at zero temperature in de Sitter spacetime and that the thermal
property of the horizon in the de Sitter spacetime with a static metric should
be analogous to that of the Rindler horizon in Minkowski spacetime.Comment: 7 pages, 1 figur
Informational justice and employee knowledge hiding behaviours: Mediation of organizational identification and moderation of justice sensitivity
Purpose: This study examines the effects of information justice on employee knowledge hiding via the mediation of organizational identification, and further investigates how justice sensitivity moderates these effects. Design/methodology/approach: Data were collected through a questionnaire survey with 250 working individuals in China. Confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to test the validity and reliability of the construct measurement. Regression analyses were then used for hypothesis tests. Findings: Informational justice is negatively associated with evasive hiding and playing dumb behaviours but positively associated with rationalized hiding behaviour through the mediation of organizational identification. In addition, justice sensitivity moderates the relationship between informational justice and organizational identification. Practical implications: Managers should deliver informational justice in their workplace interactions with subordinates in counteracting workplace knowledge hiding, and pay special attention to employees with higher justice sensitivity who possess critical knowledge to the organization. Originality/value: This study identified informational justice in the leader-follower exchange domain as a predictor of employee knowledge hiding, and examined specific mediation mechanism and boundary effects
Black Hole Mass Formula Is a Vanishing Noether Charge
The Noether current and its variation relation with respect to diffeomorphism
invariance of gravitational theories have been derived from the horizontal
variation and vertical-horizontal bi-variation of the Lagrangian, respectively.
For Einstein's GR in the stationary, axisymmetric black holes, the mass formula
in vacuum can be derived from this Noether current although it definitely
vanishes. This indicates that the mass formula of black holes is a vanishing
Noether charge in this case. The first law of black hole thermodynamics can
also be derived from the variation relation of this vanishing Noether current.Comment: 7 page
Effects of Bushenyiqihexue Formula on the Endometrial Gland Apoptosis in Mice with Blastocyst Implantation Dysfunction
ObjectiveTo observe the effects of Bushenyiqihexue Formula (Formula for Tonifying the Kidney, Replenishing qi and Harmonizing Blood, FTKRQHB) on the endometrial gland apoptosis in the mice with blastocyst implantation dysfunction.MethodsThe mice with the first-day pregnancy were divided into the control, model and treatment groups, with 30 in each group, and blastocyst implantation dysfunction was induced by subcutaneous injection of mifepristone in the mice of the model and treatment groups. The pregnancy rate and implantation number of blastocysts were measured and the expressions of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA), Bax, Bcl-2, and activated caspase-3 were detected in all the three groups.ResultsThe model group had significantly depressed pregnancy rate, implantation number of blastocysts and apoptosis index, and elevated proliferation index of endometrial gland as compared with the control group (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Administration of FTKRQHB (the treatment group) resulted in significant increases in pregnancy rate, implantation number of blastocysts and apoptosis index of the endometrial gland, and a significant decrease in the proliferation index of the endometrial gland as compared with the model group (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The differences in the four indexes between the treatment group and control group were not significant statistically. The Bax and activated caspase-3 expressions in endometrial gland in the model group became significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.01), whereas those in the treatment group were significant higher than that of the model group (P<0.01). However, the Bax and activated caspase-3 expressions in endometrial gland were similar in both treatment and control groups.ConclusionPromoting the increases in Bax and activated caspase-3 expressions in the endometrial gland and bringing into balance between apoptosis and proliferation of the glandular cells at the implantation window phase by FTKRQHB may contribute to the effects of promoting the establishment of endometrial receptivity and improving blastocyst implantation dysfunction
On Beltrami Model of de Sitter Spacetime
Based on some important properties of space, we present a Beltrami model
that may shed light on the observable puzzle of space
and the paradox between the special relativity principle and cosmological
principle. In , there are inertial-type coordinates and
inertial-type observers. Thus, the classical observables can be defined for
test particles and light signals. In addition, by choosing the definition of
simultaneity the Beltrami metric is transformed to the Robertson-Walker-like
metric. It is of positive spatial curvature of order . This is more or
less indicated already by the CMB power spectrum from WMAP and should be
further confirmed by its data in large scale.Comment: 4 page
