Configuration of 3.59 MeV 0+ state in 44Ca
Results obtained with the 48Ti(d, 6Li) reaction, at Ed = 55 MeV, establish the 3.59 MeV 0+ level of 44Ca as virtually pure 8 p−4h, with Th = 0

Marked inconsistencies in earlier data for two-neutron transfer strengths in the samarium isotopes make comparison with model predictions difficult. We compare here the results of a careful high-resolution (p, t) reaction study on 148,150,152,154Sm at Ep=40 MeV with IBA model predictions
Direct evidence for 3P-4H excitations in N-15
Direct comparison of data for 12C(a, p)lSN and 160(a, p)19F allows the identification of 3p-4h states in lSN with J = 5/2% 9/2 ÷ and 13•2 +. Correspondence between 19F and I SN is very good, in both transfer strengths and excitation energies
