Насіннєва продуктивність декоративних видів роду Lupinus в умовах Поділля

The results of seed productivity of flowering and ornamental plants belonging to the representatives of the genus Lupinus L. in Podillya are presented. The analysis of the species composition of the genus Lupinus and the prospects of their use for landscaping different sites of the Podillya region is presented in the article. In order to differentiate the plants according to the scope of their possible use, experimental studies of the most promising representatives of this genus are provided, which show that the ontogeny of all the studied varieties/hybrids is completed under these conditions by full fruiting, the period of which in most species lasts from 43 to 82 days. Given the life span of a single flower, the ripening of each fruit in these plants takes a considerable amount of time in their ontogeny. The research has found that all the species studied are of interest as potentially valuable objects to enrich the range of native ornamental plants and are promising for improving the condition of parks, squares, gardens in the Podillya area. The success of the introduction is also confirmed by the data on the ability of the species under investigation for vegetative reproduction. Thus, during the period of researches (2018-2019) in such species as L. Polyphyllus Lindl and L. perennis L., intensive development of the root and lateral rhizomes was observed. Artificial reproduction was carried out by dividing these rhizomes, which can be successfully carried out in the spring or by rooting cuttings. This provides additional opportunities for limited seed reproduction and is an important way of preserving valuable components of heredity that is appropriate to use in the development of breeding programs and to optimize the process of cultivation in green building. The research has also identified the natural capabilities of representatives of the genus Lupinus, plasticity to change their life form, high quality on the set of characteristics that determine their decorative characterizes the studied plants, as a source for the introduction and enrichment of the range of ornamental crops in Ukraine. Thus, studying the problem of seed productivity of the genus Lupinus for landscaping will greatly expand the range of ornamental plants and enrich the cultivated flora of the Podillya region and Ukraine as a whole.Наведено результати насіннєвої продуктивності квітниково-декоративних рослин, що належать до представників роду Lupinus L. в умовах Поділля. Проаналізовано видовий склад роду Lupinus та визначено перспективність їх використання для озеленення різних об'єктів зони Поділля. З метою диференціації рослин, відповідно до сфери їх можливого використання, наведено експериментальні дослідження найбільш перспективних представників цього роду, в яких встановлено, що онтогенез усіх досліджуваних сортів/гібридів завершується у цих умовах повноцінним плодоношенням, період якого в більшості видів триває від 43 до 82 днів. Враховуючи тривалість життя окремої квітки, дозрівання кожного плоду в цих рослин займає значний проміжок часу в їх онтогенезі. Дослідженням встановлено, що всі досліджувані види викликають інтерес як потенційно цінні об'єкти для збагачення асортименту вітчизняних декоративних рослин та є перспективними для поліпшення стану парків, скверів, садків зони Поділля. Також дослідженнями визначено природні можливості представників роду Lupinus, пластичність до зміни їх життєвої форми, високу якість за сукупністю ознак, що визначають їхню декоративність і характеризують досліджувані рослини, як джерело для інтродукції і збагачення асортименту декоративних культур в Україні. Отже, вивчення питання щодо насіннєвої продуктивності роду Lupinus для озеленення дасть змогу значно розширити асортимент декоративно цінних рослин та збагатити культивовану флору зони Поділля та України загалом

Дослідження сортових ресурсів трав'яних видів Paeonia L. в Україні

The present state of the trends of the use of herbaceous species of Paeonia L. is analyzed and their prospects for use in decorative gardening and landscaping are determined. The varietal assortment of species and number composition of varieties of herbaceous species of Paeonia L., which were entered into the State Register and analyzed dynamics in the years of their creation, was investigated. The general characteristic of investigated varieties listed in the Register is given. The varietal properties of 42 varieties and hybrids of herbaceous species Paeonia L. were investigated. The results of the initial introductory test of flower-decorative varieties belonging to representatives of varieties of herbaceous species Paeonia L. in the conditions of Podillya are presented. The analysis of the species composition of the genus Paeonia L. has been carried out and the prospects of their use for landscaping of various objects of the Podillya area have been determined. In order to differentiate plants according to the scope of their possible use, morphometric indices of varieties of representatives of this genus are given. The research found that all the studied varieties are of interest as potentially valuable objects for the enrichment of the range of domestic ornamental plants and are promising for improving the state of parks and gardens in Podillya area. Taking into account the high decorative qualities of these species and the wide possibilities of their application, flower-ornamental plants of representatives of grassy species of Paeonia L. have a significant interest in gardening and to replenish the range of decorative cultures of our country. The research also identifies the natural features of the representatives of Paeonia L. grassy species, plasticity to change their vital form, high quality by a set of features that determine their decorative characterization of the plants under study, as a source for introduction, as well as the enrichment of the range of decorative cultures in Ukraine. Consequently, the introduction of representatives of Paeonia L. family for planting greenery will significantly expand the range of ornamental plants and enrich the cultivated flora of Podillya region and Ukraine as a whole. Comparison of the obtained results with the characteristics of varieties presented by the originator showed the coincidence of varietal characteristics by all indicators. Taking into account that Peony belongs to the leading crops that have become widely used in landscaping due to the high decorative nature of brightly colored inflorescences, the level of adaptation of the varietal material of this species is estimated. The indicated qualities were manifested fully in all the varieties selected by us for testing in the conditions of Vinnytsia region, which is confirmed by the data of phenological observations and the account of their economic and biological qualities according to the criteria adopted by the State Method of Sorting Tests.Проаналізовано сучасний стан напрямів використання трав'яних видів Paeonia L. та визначено їх перспективи використання у декоративному садівництві та озелененні. Досліджено сортовий асортимент видового та чисельного складу сортів трав'яних видів Paeonia L., яких занесено до Державного реєстру, та проаналізовано динаміку за роками їх створення. Наведено загальну характеристику досліджуваних сортів, яких занесено до Реєстру. Досліджено сортові властивості 42 сортів та гібридів трав'яних видів Paeonia L. Наведено результати первинного інтродукційного випробування квітниково-декоративних сортів, що належать до представників сортів трав'яних видів Paeonia L. в умовах Поділля. Проаналізовано видовий склад роду Paeonia L. та визначено перспективність їх використання для озеленення різних об'єктів зони Поділля. З метою диференціації рослин відповідно до сфери їх можливого використання наведено морфометричні показники сортів представників цього роду. Дослідженням встановлено, що всі досліджувані сорти викликають інтерес як потенційно цінні об'єкти для збагачення асортименту вітчизняних декоративних рослин та є перспективними для поліпшення стану парків, скверів, садків зони Поділля. Враховуючи високі декоративні властивості цих видів та широкі можливості їх застосування, квітниково-декоративні рослини представників трав'яних видів Paeonia L. становлять значний інтерес для садівництва та поповнення асортименту декоративних культур нашої держави. Також дослідженнями визначено природні можливості представників трав'яних видів Paeonia L., пластичність до зміни їх життєвої форми. Висока якість за сукупністю ознак, що визначають їх декоративність, характеризує досліджувані рослини як джерело для інтродукції, а також збагачення асортименту декоративних культур в Україні. Отже, інтродукція представників роду Paeonia L. для озеленення дає змогу значно розширити асортимент декоративно цінних рослин та збагатити культивовану флору зони Поділля та України загалом. Порівняння отриманих результатів з характеристикою сортів, які представив оригінатор, показали збігання сортових ознак за всіма показниками. Враховуючи, що Півонії належать до провідних культур, які набули широкого застосування в озелененні завдяки високій декоративності яскраво забарвлених суцвіть, оцінено рівень пристосованості сортового матеріалу цього виду. Означені якості проявилися повною мірою у всіх сортів, які ми вибрали для випробування в умовах Вінниччини, що підтверджено даними фенологічних спостережень та обліку їх господарсько-біологічних якостей за критеріями, прийнятими Державною методикою сортовипробування

Ecological and biological evaluation of varietal resources Paeonia L. in Ukraine

The present state of the trends of the use of herbaceous species of Paeonia L. was studied and their prospects for greening the Podillya area were determined. The cultivars and hybrids of peony culture are investigated, entered in the State Register of Ukraine and analyzed the dynamics of their creation over the years. The analysis of researches and publications of cultivars of milky-flowered breeding breeding in our country was carried out. The decorative properties of the herbaceous peony varieties (Paeonia lactiflora Pall.) Were analyzed and the characteristics of the varieties represented by the originator of the varieties represented by all indicators were studied. According to the results of the research, Paeonia L. varieties, which are entered in the State Register on a set of indicators that determine their decorative and economic and biological qualities, are recommended as objects for the enrichment of the plant variety for planting the Ukraine.
