Trabajo Contributorio (TC) o Trabajo no Contributorio (TNC).
This investigation is entitled: Implementation of the charter Balance sheet for the
improvement of production in the construction of a house in Chepén , in which we
apply the Charter Balance tool of the Lean Construction philosophy where it is first
identified the factors for the analysis such as the items involved in the project and
the activities that these items include during the investigation, then a holistic
review of the actions taken in each element is carried out and then each action is
classified as Productive Work (TP), Work Contributory (TC) or Non-contributory
Work (TNC). Once these factors are identified, I will use my data collection tool for
the different types of work (TP, TC, and TNC) performed by each worker in the
participating crews.
This data collection will take place within an hour, once the field data collection is
complete I will categorize and list the activities in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet to
prepare charts where I will label each type of work by percentage and graphics.
These tables will be circular to facilitate the reading of the results and the
interpretation of the results of the non-contributory work will also be carried out to
minimize this deficit. I will then develop improved methods to increase productivity
and then identify and reduce non-value activities in both contributory and non contributory work. After applying the improvement proposals, I will take the
measurements again, repeating the same process at hourly intervals to compare
the results.Tesi
Fuzzy motion adaptive algorithm and its hardware implementation for video de-interlacing
Interlacing techniques were introduced in the early analog TV transmission systems as an efficient mechanism capable of halving the video bandwidth. Currently, interlacing is also used by some modern digital TV transmission systems, however, there is a problem at the receiver side since the majority of modern display devices require a progressive scanning. De-interlacing algorithms convert an interlaced video signal into a progressive one by performing interpolation. To achieve good de-interlacing results, dynamical and local image features should be considered. The gradual adaptation of the de-interlacing technique as a function of the level of motion detected in each pixel is a powerful method that can be carried out by means of fuzzy inference. The starting point of our study is an algorithm that uses a fuzzy inference system to evaluate motion locally (FMA algorithm). Our approach is based on convolution techniques to process a fuzzy rulebase for motion-adaptive de-interlacing. Different strategies based on bi-dimensional convolution techniques are proposed. In particular, the algorithm called 'single convolution algorithm' introduces significant advantages: a more accurate measurement of the level of motion using a matrix of weights, and a unique fuzzification process after the global estimation, which reduces the computational cost. Different architectures for the hardware implementation of this algorithm are described in VHDL language. The physical realization is carried out on a RC100 Celoxica FPGA development board. © 2010 Elsevier B.V.Comunidad Europea FP7-INFSO-ICT-248858Gobierno de España TIN2005-08943-C02-01 y TEC2008-04920Junta de Andalucía P08-TIC-0367
Edge-adaptive spatial video de-interlacing algorithms based on fuzzy logic
Since the human visual system is especially sensitive to image edges, edge-dependent spatial interpolators have
been proposed in literature as a means of successfully restoring edges while avoiding the staircase effect of linear spatial
algorithms. This paper addresses the application of video de-interlacing, which constitutes an indispensable stage in video
format conversion. Classic edge-adaptive de-interlacing algorithms introduce annoying artifacts when the edge directions are
evaluated incorrectly. This paper presents two ways of exploiting fuzzy reasoning to reinforce edges without an excessive
increase in computational complexity. The performance of the proposed algorithms is analyzed by de-interlacing a wide set of
test sequences. The study compares the two proposals both with each other and with other edge-adaptive de-interlacing methods

Fuzzy motion adaptive algorithm for video de-interlacing
A motion adaptive algorithm for video de-interlacing is presented in this paper. It is based on a fuzzy inference system, which performs an interpolation between two linear techniques as a function of the motion level. Fuzzy systems with different number of ¿if-then¿ rules have been analyzed and compared in terms of complexity as well as efficiency in de-interlacing benchmark video sequences.Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia TEC2005-04359/MICJunta de Andalucía TIC2006-63
Active reflectors: possible solutions based on reflectarrays and Fresnel reflectors
An overview about some of the recent Spanish developments on active reflectors is presented. In the first part, a novel beamsteering active reflectarray is deeply studied. It is based on implementing in each elementary radiator an IQ modulator structure, in which amplitude and phase control of the scattered field is achieved. Finally, a special effort is made in offering solutions to overcome the active antenna integration problems. In the second part, the active concept is firstly extended to Fresnel reflectors. Thanks to the development of a proper simulator, this special structure can be easily analysed. This simulator allows the study of performance of this kind of reflectors and, applying evolutionary algorithms, to find optimal configurations of reflector in accordance with the given specifications for the conformal radiation pattern
The pedagogical practice has evidenced defficiencies in the statistical process of the medical data related to medical students. This allowed the performance of the present research with the objective to elaborate a didactic means for the teaching of Descriptive Statistics. The language program applied was the Hot Potatoes and there were performed presentation screens with patterns that allow us to approach the exposed content. The software is nothing more than a system of interaction exercises for the students self evaluation of the acquired knowledge. With this application it was confirmed the development of skills in the statistical process because the students felt motivated to learn Descriptive Statistics within the subject Statistics and Methodology of the Investigation, where the experimental group had greater results of promotion than the control group. The level of motivation in the experimental group was: high motivated, while the control group was low motivated. The software obtained an excellent level of acceptance in the experimental group and regular in the control one.
