Dissipativity analysis and stabilization for discontinuous delayed complex-valued networks via matrix measure method

No full text
Abstract In this paper, we discuss the dissipativity and stabilization problems via matrix measure strategy. First, we propose a way to construct complex-valued set-valued maps and give the basic framework of complex-valued differential inclusions. In addition, based on matrix measure strategy and the generalized Halanay inequality, we analyze the dissipativity of the addressed discontinuous complex-valued neural networks by using two different ways. Furthermore, we design a set of controllers to guarantee the exponential stability of the studied networks. The main contribution of this paper is an extension of the dissipativity results of traditional neural networks to discontinuous ones. Finally, we give numerical examples to substantiate the merits of the obtained results

Gradual Reliability Sensitivity Analysis of Mechanical Part Considering Preventive Maintenance

No full text
A lot of mechanical parts are subject to failure due to the deterioration. Usually the preventive maintenance is taken to ensure the safety and reliability. Therefore, it is very important to study the gradual reliability design of the mechanical part for improving the gradual reliability of the mechanical system under the condition of considering the preventive maintenance. Beta distribution is employed to describe the randomness of the mechanical part state after the preventive maintenance. The deterioration process of the mechanical part is modeled using the nonstationary Gamma process. The gradual reliability model before the first preventive maintenance is proposed according to the gradual failure principle and using the initial state distribution and the properties of Gamma process. Then, the gradual reliability model between any two times of preventive maintenance is also derived. Subsequently, the sensitivity equations of the proposed gradual reliability model to each parameter are given. The application process and practicality of the proposed approach are described by a numerical example. This work solved the problem where the maintenance has not been well considered in the reliability design of the mechanical part and contributed to the theory and method of improving the safety and reliability operation of the mechanical system

Preparation of Large-Size, Superparamagnetic, and Highly Magnetic Fe3O4@PDA Core–Shell Submicrosphere-Supported Nano-Palladium Catalyst and Its Application to Aldehyde Preparation through Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Benzyl Alcohols

Large-size, superparamagnetic, and highly magnetic Fe3O4@PDA core−shell submicrosphere-supported nano-palladium catalysts were prepared in this study. Dopamine was encapsulated on the surface of Fe3O4 particles via self-polymerization and then protonated to positively charge the microspheres. PdCl42− was dispersed on the surface of the microspheres by positive and negative charge attraction and then reduced to nano-palladium. With air as oxidant, the catalyst can successfully catalyze the dehydrogenation of benzyl alcohols to produce the corresponding aldehydes at 120 °C

Application Value of CTA in the Computer-Aided Diagnosis of Subarachnoid Hemorrhage of Different Origins

Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) is difficult to detect because of its circulation through subarachnoid space, which leads to a high rate of missed diagnosis. Based on the above background, the purpose of this study is to study the application value of brain CT angiography (CTA) in computer-aided diagnosis of subarachnoid hemorrhage with a wide range of brain digital subtraction angiography as a gold standard. This paper collected images and related medical records of 111 patients with spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage receiving brain CTA and DSA examinations from February 2015 to November 2019 in the neurology department of our hospital. In contrast to the number, position, length, width, and neck width of the causative aneurysm detected by DSA, we evaluated the diagnostic results of CTA and evaluated whether there was statistical difference between the two detectives of intracranial aneurysms. The results showed that the area under ROC curve of subtraction CTA and conventional CTA was 1.000 and 0.818, respectively, which indicated that the former had better display effect on internal carotid aneurysm (AUC > 0.9), while the latter had medium value (0.7 < AUC ≤ 0.9), and the difference was statistically significant (z = 2.390, p=0.017)
