    Scheme for preparation of mulipartite entanglement of atomic ensembles

    We describe an experimental scheme of preparing multipartite W class of maximally entangled states between many atomic ensembles. The scheme is based on laser manipulation of atomic ensembles and single-photon detection, and well fits the status of the current experimental technology. In addition, we show one of the applications of the kind of W class states, teleporting an entangled state of atomic ensembles with unknown coefficients to more than one distant parties, either one of which equally likely receives the transmitted state.Comment: 4 pages, 3 figure

    Non-spectator Contributions To The Lifetime of Ξ›b\Lambda_{b}

    In this work, we evaluate the contributions of non-spectator effects to the lifetimes of Ξ›b\Lambda_b and B-mesons. Based on the well-established models and within a reasonable range of the concerned parameters, the contributions can reduce the lifetime of Ξ›b\Lambda_b by 7∼87 \sim 8% compared to that of B-mesons which are not significantly affected. This might partly explain the measured ratio Ο„(Ξ›b)/Ο„(B0)=0.79\tau(\Lambda_{b})/\tau(B^{0})=0.79 \cite{Data}, which has been a long-standing discrepancy between theory and experimental data
