open access articleTo address the problem of multiattribute group decision-making with interval grey numbers, decision matrices are adjusted using kernels of interval grey numbers to reduce the psychological effects of decision-makers. The comprehensive weights of attributes are obtained by aggregating the subjective weights with objective weights, which are calculated based on the accuracy and difference of attributes. Considering the consistent, best, and worst decision-making abilities of decision-makers, grey incidence models are established to obtain the consistency weights and individual bipolar weights of decision-makers; then, the comprehensive weights of decision-makers are determined. A clustering approach of interval grey numbers is presented, and overall evaluations are obtained. Finally, an example is provided and its validity is tested to verify the feasibility of the proposed method

Analyze Differences in Carbon Emissions from Traditional and Prefabricated Buildings Combining the Life Cycle

Construction, as an important producer of energy, material, and waste emissions, the high energy consumption problem has not been solved. Prefabricated buildings have become more and more popular and promoted in China in recent years. This study takes prefabricated buildings and traditional cast-in-situ buildings as research objects and divides the buildings into five stages: factory building materials production, component transportation, field installation, use, and demolition. In addition, the paper presents the calculation method of carbon emissions in five stages of construction. By calculating the carbon emissions of the two buildings in five stages, the total carbon emissions of the two buildings and the differences in carbon emissions are obtained. In particular, in this case, the prefabricated buildings and traditional cast-in-situ buildings were constructed at the same time and in the same place. It is concluded that prefabricated buildings can reduce carbon emissions by about 86 kg per square meter compared with traditional cast-in-situ buildings. In all stages of carbon emissions, the field installation stage produces the most carbon emissions. Prefabricated buildings consume more concrete, steel bar, and diesel and fewer wall materials than traditional cast-in-situ buildings

The file attached to this record is the Publisher's final version.According to the characteristics of three-parameter interval grey number and the advantages of grey target, a multi-attribute grey target decision-making method is built. First, the "kernel" of the three-parameter interval grey number based on the most probability' is defined, and the upper bound degree of greyness and the lower bound degree of greyness are separately defined for the asymmetry on the two sides, then the distance measure formula affected by the risk attitude of the decision maker is given. Considering the proximity of schemes to the optimal vector and the worst vector, the comprehensive off-target distances and their space projection on the line connecting the point of the positive bull's eye and the negative bull's eye are obtained, and the ranking of the schemes is ultimately determined. Finally, an example validates the rationality and effectiveness of the method, which may provide a new way of thinking in terms of research on grey decision-making theory and application
