    RNA interference technology's research progress in the treatment of retinal disease

    RNA interference exists widely in animals, which can induce specific genetic sequence to silence by double-stranded RNA molecules at the mRNA level. As a kind of new methods of blocking gene expression, RNA interference technology has become increasingly mature and perfect, it has opened up a new approach of gene therapy. RNA interference can effectively prevent the formation of new vessels in retina, restrain the occurrence and development of the proliferative vitreous retinopathy, and induce apoptosis of retinoblastoma cells. The research progress of the RNA interference in the above retinopathy was summarized in this review

    The SU(3) bosons and the spin nematic state on the spin-1 bilinear-biquadratic triangular lattice

    A bond-operator mean-field theory in the SU(3) bosons representation is developed to describe the antiferro-nematic phase of the spin-1 bilinear-biquadratic model. The calculated static structure factors reveal delicately that the antiferro-nematic state may exhibit both the ferro- and antiferro-quadruple long-range orders, which is reminiscent of the ferrimagnets or the canted antiferromagnets. This result may influence the spin wave theory concerned with this phase. Possible relevance of this unconventional state to the quasi-two-dimensional triangular material NiGa2S4 is addressed.Comment: 8pages, 6figure

    In the title complex, [Co(C22H18N2O4)(CN)(H2O)]·0.5CH3CN, the CoIII cation is N,N′,O,O′-chelated by a 6,6′-dimeth­oxy-2,2′-[1,2-phenyl­enebis(nitrilo­methanylyl­idene)]diphenolate dianion, and is further coordinated by a cyanide anion and a water mol­ecule in the axial sites, completing a distorted octa­hedral coordination geometry. In the crystal, pairs of bifurcated O—H⋯(O,O) hydrogen bonds link adjacent mol­ecules, forming centrosymmetric dimers. The acetonitrile solvent mol­ecule shows 0.5 occupancy

    MaskCL: Semantic Mask-Driven Contrastive Learning for Unsupervised Person Re-Identification with Clothes Change

    This paper considers a novel and challenging problem: unsupervised long-term person re-identification with clothes change. Unfortunately, conventional unsupervised person re-id methods are designed for short-term cases and thus fail to perceive clothes-independent patterns due to simply being driven by RGB prompt. To tackle with such a bottleneck, we propose a semantic mask-driven contrastive learning approach, in which silhouette masks are embedded into contrastive learning framework as the semantic prompts and cross-clothes invariance is learnt from hierarchically semantic neighbor structure by combining both RGB and semantic features in a two-branches network. Since such a challenging re-id task setting is investigated for the first time, we conducted extensive experiments to evaluate state-of-the-art unsupervised short-term person re-id methods on five widely-used clothes-change re-id datasets. Experimental results verify that our approach outperforms the unsupervised re-id competitors by a clear margin, remaining a narrow gap to the supervised baselines
