The importance of excursions in environmental education and protection of pupils

W artykule zostało opisane znaczenie wycieczek w wychowaniu uczniów w zakresie ekologii i ochrony przyrody. Wyjaśniono istotę edukacji i wychowania ekologicznego, zasady edukacji ekologicznej. Opisano wycieczkę jako główną formę organizacji nauczania biologii w szkole. Opisana została również struktura i metodyka prowadzenia przyrodniczych wycieczek. Zostało podkreślone znaczenie połączenia racjonalnego, emocjonalnego i praktycznego aspektu w czasie trwania wycieczki. Przedstawiono wybrane formy pracy w czasie wycieczek, które przyczyniają się do ekologicznej edukacji uczniów, kształtowania u nich zasad postępowania w naturze, troskliwej opieki nad nią i motywacji do działań z zakresu ochrony przyrody w czasie trwania wycieczek. Zostały sformułowane wnioski o znaczeniu wycieczek z biologii w procesie edukacji i wychowania ekologicznego dzieci w wieku szkolnym.The article covers the importance of excursions in the ecological and environmental protection of pupils’ education. The essence of ecological education and upbringing, the main principles of ecological education are revealed. The potential of the school biology course for the implementation of ecological education and upbringing has been analyzed. The excursion as the leading form of organizing the teaching of biology at school has been described. The structure and methodology of conducting nature excursions are described. The authors made the emphasis on the importance of combining rationality, emotionality and practicality during the excursion. Several excursions working forms were presented that promote the ecological education of pupils, form their rules of behavior in nature, careful attitude to it and the motivation to environmental protection activities during excursions.
