Consolidated List of Requirements
This document is a consolidated catalogue of requirements for the Electronic
Health Care Record (EHCR) and Electronic Health Care Record Architecture
(EHCRA), gleaned largely from work done in the EU Framework III and IV
programmes and CEN, but also including input from other sources including world-wide
standardisation initiatives. The document brings together the relevant work done into a
classified inventory of requirements to inform the on-going standardisation process as
well as act as a guide to future implementation of EHCRA-based systems. It is meant as
a contribution both to understanding of the standard and to the work that is being
considered to improve the standard. Major features include the classification into issues
affecting the Health Care Record, the EHCR, EHCR processing, EHCR interchange and
the sharing of health care information and EHCR systems. The principal information
sources are described briefly. It is offered as documentation that is complementary to the
four documents of the ENV 13606 Parts I-IV produced by CEN Pts 26,27,28,29. The
requirements identified and classified in this deliverable are referenced in other
deliverables
Coercivity and stability results for an extended Navier-Stokes system
In this article we study a system of equations that is known to {\em extend}
Navier-Stokes dynamics in a well-posed manner to velocity fields that are not
necessarily divergence-free. Our aim is to contribute to an understanding of
the role of divergence and pressure in developing energy estimates capable of
controlling the nonlinear terms. We address questions of global existence and
stability in bounded domains with no-slip boundary conditions. Even in two
space dimensions, global existence is open in general, and remains so,
primarily due to the lack of a self-contained energy estimate. However,
through use of new coercivity estimates for the linear equations, we
establish a number of global existence and stability results, including results
for small divergence and a time-discrete scheme. We also prove global existence
in 2D for any initial data, provided sufficient divergence damping is included.Comment: 29 pages, no figure
Dirac Operator on a disk with global boundary conditions
We compute the functional determinant for a Dirac operator in the presence of
an Abelian gauge field on a bidimensional disk, under global boundary
conditions of the type introduced by Atiyah-Patodi-Singer. We also discuss the

The Lived Experience of Work and Career Among Individuals with Bipolar Disorder: A Phenomenological Study of Discussion Forum Narratives
Individuals with invisible chronic illnesses are often at a disadvantage in the workplace in terms of job security, promotion, and occupational success. Because little is known about the use of public online support forums to help patients with mental health disorders cope with the impact their illness has on their work and career, this research identifies and examines online forum posts related to employment by contributors with bipolar disorder. Seven percent of the total eligible posts from four discussion forums (n = 7,712) contained mentions of work and career (n = 572). A thematic analysis of the 572 posts is reported, organized by characteristics of contributors related to work and career histories, symptoms of bipolar disorder at work, needs for coping at work, the importance of work as part of a healthy life, disclosure of the illness, and recommendations by other contributors. The symptoms associated with the illness can have a negative impact in the work environment. Fear of stigma and other negative consequences inhibit workers from disclosing their condition and negotiating ways to get the fundamental accommodations they need. The posts reveal a climate of fear and uncertainty surrounding mental illness in the workplace, as well as individuals’ desire to conquer their health challenges to achieve meaning and fulfillment in their work life
Fractional-order operators: Boundary problems, heat equations
The first half of this work gives a survey of the fractional Laplacian (and
related operators), its restricted Dirichlet realization on a bounded domain,
and its nonhomogeneous local boundary conditions, as treated by
pseudodifferential methods. The second half takes up the associated heat
equation with homogeneous Dirichlet condition. Here we recall recently shown
sharp results on interior regularity and on -estimates up to the boundary,
as well as recent H\"older estimates. This is supplied with new higher
regularity estimates in -spaces using a technique of Lions and Magenes,
and higher -regularity estimates (with arbitrarily high H\"older estimates
in the time-parameter) based on a general result of Amann. Moreover, it is
shown that an improvement to spatial -regularity at the boundary is

Future monitoring of charged particle energy deposition into the upper atmosphere and comments on possible relationships between atmospheric phenomena and solar and/or geomagnetic activity
Monitoring of earth's atmosphere was conducted for several years utilizing the ITOS series of low-altitude, polar-orbiting weather satellites. A space environment monitoring package was included in these satellites to perform measurements of a portion of earth's charged particle environment. The charged particle observations proposed for the low-altitude weather satellite TIROS N, are described which will provide the capability of routine monitoring of the instantaneous total energy deposition into the upper atmosphere by the precipitation of charged particles from higher altitudes. Such observations may be of use in future studies of the relationships between geomagnetic activity and atmospheric weather pattern developments. Estimates are given to assess the potential importance of this type of energy deposition. Discussion and examples are presented illustrating the importance of distinguishing between solar and geomagnetic activity as possible causative sources. Such differentiation is necessary because of the widely different spatial and time scales involved in the atmospheric energy input resulting from these various sources of activity
Scattering and self-adjoint extensions of the Aharonov-Bohm hamiltonian
We consider the hamiltonian operator associated with planar sec- tions of
infinitely long cylindrical solenoids and with a homogeneous magnetic field in
their interior. First, in the Sobolev space , we characterize all
generalized boundary conditions on the solenoid bor- der compatible with
quantum mechanics, i.e., the boundary conditions so that the corresponding
hamiltonian operators are self-adjoint. Then we study and compare the
scattering of the most usual boundary con- ditions, that is, Dirichlet, Neumann
