Recently, there is a rising research interest in the issue of professional competence as a whole and of nursing care specialists` competence involved in medical education and social work. That is why acquisition of professional competence transforms into a basic element of the university medical education under these conditions. It incorporates formation of knowledge and communicative skills in the field of medicine and in other fields. Contemporary medical staff should be capable of competent solving the health problems related to the health of their patients as well as the ethical problems, issues of information service, prevention, negotiation, solution of conflicts, etc
NECESSITY OF PROFESSIONAL PEDAGOGICAL COMPETENCE FOR NURSING CARE SPECIALISTS

That is why professional competence transforms into a basic element of the university medical education under these conditions. It incorporates not only knowledge in the field of medicine but also formation of a variety of communicative skills ensuring a qualitative care to the patients. Contemporary medical staff should be capable of solving the health problems based on ethical work standards. This is due to the fact that nursing care specialists are responsible for the maintenance, promotion, rehabilitation and provision of care for rehabilitation and treatment as well as for education of the patients and their relatives
