There are number of features that all automobile manufacturers are requested by the users to provide. The most essential characters sought for by automobile purchasers can be listed as mechanical durability, chemical resistance, and pleasant in appearance after the finish painting process. However, the painting process decisions are not only influenced by buyer´s preferences but also design constraints of the body and local government regulations linked with environmental control. The concerned experts from paint process plants, auto-plant, paint and chemical plants as well as paint application equipment need to have an effective interaction to accomplish the highest possible efficiency of the paint shop. Besides highest efficiency, minimum unit production cost, conforming to emission control requirements and the best of product quality are other essential aims. To realize these goals the manufacturers nowadays has needed a high degree of automation. Owing to this technology, factories can provide consistent quality and also avoid the hazardous working environment created by the painting processes.El proceso de automoción en el proceso de pintura. Jews in exile from the 3rd Reich in the spanish cinema: 1933-1936

It is in these years that the Spanish film industry flourishes after the ‘Sound Crisis’. Not only the strategies of the production companies that these exiled Jews created or managed will be analysed, but also the role of technicians and artists that participated in every aspect of the Spanish cinematography. Additionally, a detailed list of names and activities will be provided, with indication of their destiny after the beginning of the Spanish Civil WarEste trabajo se inscribe en el Proyecto de Investigación financiado por el Plan Nacional del Ministerio de Economía y competitividad con clave HAR 2011-2437

Green coffee based CO2 adsorbent with high performance in postcombustion conditions

An environmentally friendly and low cost adsorbent, PPC (patent application filed González (2013)), produced from an abundant residue from the food industry, coffee grounds, is presented and evaluated as CO2 adsorbent in postcombustion conditions. PPC is a high bulk density pelletized carbon with adequate properties for its use in fixed-bed adsorption applications. The equilibrium capacity for CO2 at low partial pressures, relevant for the postcombustion case, in the 25–50 °C temperature range is superior to that of reference carbons, both in mass and volume basis. PPC presents equilibrium selectivity for CO2 over N2, with CO2/N2 equilibrium separation factor values of 15–25 at 50 °C and 130 kPa for CO2 concentrations between 9% and 31%. Moreover, it presents fast adsorption kinetics, which makes it a good candidate for rapid swing adsorption cycles. Different VSA cycle configurations were carried out at 50 °C in the fixed-bed adsorption unit to evaluate the performance of the adsorbent in cyclic operation. The adsorbent did not show any sign of deactivation over extended operation.Work carried out with financial support from the Spanish MINECO (Project ENE2011-23467), co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

Alternative operators investing in NGNs: A causal analysis of the case in Spain

The telecommunications market was completely open to competition in 1998 in Spain, as in most EU countries. The model for the liberalization of the market was based on the regulated use of the incumbent operators' network, so that new entrants could initially use these resources to allow for a soft entry in the market, by climbing a 'ladder of investment'. However, as late as 2011, no entrant operator had gone beyond the Unbundled Local Loop deploying its own access network. This changed in Spain in 2012, when Jazztel decided it would invest in deploying Fibre-to-the-Home. Later, Orange and Vodafone announced that they have reached an agreement to share the deployment of fibre to 6 Millions of households. This phenomenon has coincided in time with the lack of regulated wholesale access on Telefónica FTTH network for speeds above 30 Mbps. In this paper, we show the causality between both events (lack of actual regulated wholesale access to the fibre, deployment by alternative operators), by understanding competition as a process, in the Hayekian and Schumpeterian tradition
