Complete mitochondrial genome of the decomposer Ptecticus tenebrifer Walker, 1849 (Insecta: Diptera: Stratiomyidae)
Ptecticus tenebrifer (Walker, 1849), which is endemic in East Asia, plays a critical role in natural processing of organic waste. In this study, we found that the complete mitochondrial genome of P. tenebrifer is 15681โbp in length obtained from the MGIseq system (MGI) with 150โbp paired-end reads. As with typical animal mitochondrial genomes, it contains 13 protein coding genes, 22 tRNA genes, and 2 rRNA genes. The phylogenetic analysis was performed using the maximum likelihood method with a bootstrap value of 500 and the Tamura-Nei model and reveals the close relationship with P. aurifer
Extraction of Nitride Trap Profile in 3-D NAND Flash Memory Using Intercell Program Pattern
The extraction of nitride trap density (N-t) filled with electrons emitted by thermal emission (It) in the charge-trapping layer of 3-D NAND flash memory is demonstrated. The intercell program (IP) pattern was adopted to intentionally inject electrons into the intercell region to minimize the influence of lateral migration (LM) on the trap profiles. This was confirmed by the retention characteristics observed at 120 degrees C, where the charge loss is mainly caused by the TE of the trapped electrons in the nitride layer. The extracted peak value of N-t at E-C-E-T value of 1.20 eV using the IP pattern was as low as 1.01 x 10(19) cm(-3) eV(-1) , in the scan range of 0.96 eV to 1.27 eV. This value was 17% lower than that from the conventional adjacent cell program (P-P-P) pattern. Therefore, the IP pattern can be used in extracting trap profiles in the SiN layer in scaled 3-D NAND memories.11Nsciescopu

Mitochondrial CO1 genetic structure among breeding sites of Chinese egret (Egretta eulophotes) in South Korea
Chinese egret (Egretta eulophotes) is classified as an endangered species (VU, vulnerable) and is limited to Far East. This species breeds especially offshore in China, Russia, and the Korean peninsula. We analyzed partial mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase 1 of the bird from five major breeding sites in South Korea. The results indicate that there were only 10 mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase 1 haplotypes and that their genetic diversity is very low. In addition, the distribution pattern of the haplotypes is patchy, indicating that at least a population may be distinct in its maternal origin and migration route. The results may be used as a baseline of establishing the conservation program and international cooperation for this species.
