The field of territorial planning through specific methods and instruments may provide significant contribution in the spatial organization and management of sports activities. Quantitative elements such as number of inhabitants at neighborhood, village, commune, town, county, region level, number of players, population on age and gender groups, level of economic development, together with specific infrastructure elements (football fields or other types of sports arenas) and with qualitative elements (competitional level, number of players on age groups, junior, senior, amateur and professional teams) etc, all these used in mathematic formulae can generate indexes which would reflect the development level or the practicing or attractiveness degree of a certain sport at territorial unit or locality level. In this study, for the game of football, we propose the territorial development index for football (Tdif) and the football practicing index (Fpi). With the values resulted, hierarchized, ranked and compared, important contribution may be provided for the elaboration of studies and of implementation and spatial development strategies of a sport or sportive activity

Physical training has been given special attention in recent years in the world of high-performance sports in general and in football in particular. In the context where we are witnessing a standardization of technical-tactical values, many times the level of physical training is what makes it possible to tie the teams. Sports performance has progressed a lot, we meet more and more often performances that in the past seemed impossible to achieve, but currently this fact is possible thanks to the accumulation of several factors such as: streamlining the selection process, modernizing the materials and facilities used in training and competition, the improvement of training methodologies, better trained specialists and the direct involvement of science in the sports training process. Thus, the current study proposes the development and application of training cycles centered on the development of speed, agility and coordination in children under 12 years old who practice football. To evaluate the results, a battery of tests was prepared that includes specific evaluations for each motor quality considered. The results show that the selection of means and methods aimed at developing speed, agility and coordination/skill are essential in the training process of young footballers, and the applied training cycle gives very good results for the analyzed age group. All the athletes improved their results between the initial and the final testing period, which indicates a maximum effectiveness of the training

Study on the use of new trends, materials and exercises for the development of coordination in 5th grade students (10-11 years old)

From studying the bibliography and from experience we found that education issues regarding coordination abilities are addressed very vaguely and made by practical means scientifically unproven as effective. In today's sports branches, the importance of coordinative capacities is the starting point in the correct performance of motor skills but also in the ability to quickly adapt to different situations or working conditions. With the increase in the level of development of these motor capacities, in schools, through dedicated lessons, we could speak of a much better selection for certain sports branches but also for performance sports. Research presented at various scientific conferences and the published papers had a good impact on the specialists of Sport Science and Physical Education. We believe today that these studies are just the beginning to modernize the entire contents aimed at optimizing the motor capacities of the child. We know that today's young people, with problems of a motor nature, also have problems of an affective-social nature. This psychosocial imbalance is closely related to psychomotor development. In this sense, psychomotricity must be promoted as the main part of personality development

GEOGRAPHICAL LANDMARKS FOR DELIMITATION OF SPORTCULTURAL SPACE DEFINED BY AMATEUR FOOTBALL IN CRIȘANA AND MARAMUREȘ (2011-2016)

The definition of a cultural-sports space is based on a background determined by geographic elements as the basis for reporting peculiarities of quantitative and qualitative amateur football. Thus are analyzed on a series of five years, and which come synthesized on the map of amateur football of the analyzed administrative space. Study area overlaps historical provinces of Crișana and Maramureș, in the territory of Bihor, Satu Mare, Sălaj and Maramureș counties. The counties are notable through particularities in a level of internal organization of amateur football, physical-geographical specific conditions, number and type of localities, demographic potential, etc. Interacting factors mentioned are reflected in the extension or range reductions to practice the most popular sport and which in turn reflects the socio-economic status of the county, commune and village. Alongside the dynamic component determined by representation of the defining elements during the 5 years (number and type of locality, number of teams) in conjunction with the type of Administrative Territorial Units, the number of inhabitants, representative is full "traditional" football amateur level counties determined by the index representation of the town/village by this sport

A Special Type of Multifunctional Stadiums: Great Forest Stadium in Debrecen (Hungary)

As a result of the stadium construction wave recently observed in North America and Europe, the question of the cost-effective operation of these facilities entered the foreground. Formerly, researchers advocated that these sports facilities had no significant positive economic impact, and no considerable increasing effect can be observed in terms of workplaces, personal incomes, or local tax revenues. In recent years, however, many researchers attribute a serious economic impact to particular facilities, including the so-called multifunctional stadiums, which are used for purposes other than one particular sports activity. The aim of our study, after summarising the factors leading to the establishment of multifunctional stadiums and the most important characteristics of the completed facilities, is to demonstrate the various utilization possibilities through the case study of the Great Forest Stadium in Debrecen. As an outcome of the research, it may be concluded that the facility has all features (conference room, catering unit, own shop, etc.) that are typical for medium-sized stadiums. Besides, the services related to health sciences constitute unique elements that can be explained by the activities of the higher education institution of the city, the University of Debrecen, which considers the Third Mission activities as particularly important
