    No full text
Over the last 10 years, the diagnosis small fiber neuropathy (SFN) has gained recognition worldwide. Patients often suffer from severe neuropathic pain that may be difficult to treat. A substantial subset of patients with SFN is aged 65 years or older, and these patients often exhibit comorbidities and usage of multiple drugs, making neuropathic pain treatment more challenging. In this review, we highlight relevant pathophysiological aspects and discuss currently used therapeutic strategies for neuropathic pain. Possible pitfalls in neuropathic pain treatment in the elderly will be underlined

This collection of essays proposes a critical journey in the Italian literary production of the last forty years. It deals both with authors already well-known in the 1960s (Calvino, Parise or Bassani, but also Fellini), writers that asserted themselves subsequently (Manganelli, Volponi or Del Giudice) and other personalities that remain largely to be discovered (Paolo Maurensig or Laura Pariani). This volume’s aim is double: to display the extreme diversity of the reactions aroused by the radical protest phase of the 1960s in Italian Literature, and to focus on certain effects, sometimes very late, of this eventful journey that allowed the most inventive writers to make subtle adjustments in the new writing rules
