Diversification using assortment of local varieties of red wines
The assortment of winesproduced in Moldova iscurrently dominated by cosmopolitan varieties, mainly of the French. Global wine market study hasshownthat consumers are more attracted to wine-surprise, unknown. In this context many countrie shave resorted to valorisation of indigenous varieties and new varieties of selection. Since ancient times an assortment of vine varieties adapted to local conditions has been created in Moldova. Unfortunately, in the the 40's and 50's of last century, whith the collectivization was emphasized on European varieties spreading, local varieties being forgotten. Takinginto account all mentioned, research of 13 local red varieties for industrial purposes have started. In terms of microvinification according to classical technology, experimental wines were produced, the organoleptic, physico-chemical composition, including content phenolic compounds and anthocyanins profile were determined. Methods for analysis recommended by the OIV were used and the profile of anthocyanins in wine samples studied using high performance liquid chromatography method (HPLC) was determined. The research results showed that the dry red wines made from indigenous varieties are distinguished by different content in phenolic substances and anthocyanins. On the researche basis 4 grape varieties (Feteascæa neagræa, Rara neagræa, Negru de Cæauðseni and Codrinschi) for quality dry red wines producin gwere recommended
Influence of non-saccharomyces yeasts on white dry wines
It was demonstrated a positive action of the non-Saccharomyces yeasts on the organoleptic properties of
wines. Also, their participation in fermentation process did not involve an excessive accumulation of volatile acidity or
other taste and aroma defects. The involvement of the non-Saccharomyces yeasts in practical oenology that keeps on
recent achievements in oenological biotechnologies allow an increase of aromatic intensity (floral, fruitful etc.) in
varietal wines and preserve the varietal identity of obtained wines

Development of grapes and wine-making industry of Moldova on the basis of modern achievements of science and innovations
The wine-growing and wine-making complex of Moldova has come a long way: from metal-intensive technical equipment from unalloyed steels to modern European equipment from stainless, food-grade material. All new vineyard plantings are created from planting of certified material of our own production or acquired in Italy, France
and Germany. At the present stage, vineyard plantations in Moldova are 80% occupied by classic European varieties. The rest - are local indigenous varieties. All technological processes in primary winemaking are based on modern biotechnology achievements and innovations: enzymes for clarifying wort, yeast for fermentation and bacteria to reduce acidity in red wines. The well-known preservative - sulfur dioxide is replaced with inert gases (nitrogen, carbon dioxide) and the use of low temperatures. Table wines are exported mainly to Romania, the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, China, the United States and Canada. All the achievements of viticulture and winemaking in Moldova are based on the latest scientific and technological progress, developed and implemented in the Republic of Moldova by scientists from the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, universities, as well as specialists from the National Office of Grapes and Wine
Economy of Moldavian wine complex in context of European Union integration
To realize the Moldavian political vector of European Union integration, a paramount importance has the increase of effectiveness of wine complex and the national economy in a whole. During the accession process, current and future development of vine culture and wine making is assessed, which will allow European experts to make decisions towards futures vineyard areas, the volume and biological category of grafted plant products, the overall volume of the grape harvest and wine production on the domestic market and the EU markets. Increasing the efficiency of this branch of the economy is closely related to the current policy of the state related to subsidize various activities in the nursery wine, using of plantations, integral protection of the grape harvest, creating plantations - parent of clone of

Certification of enterprises from the Republic of Moldova in the ISO 22000 and ISO 22005 system: Benefits and barriers
In order to aspire to join the EU that the Republic of Moldova (currently a candidate country) has, the main economic conditions it must satisfy are the existence of a functional market economy, as well as the ability to face competitive pressure and market forces in within the European Union. Another condition is the existence of the capacity to assume the obligations of a member state of the European Union, including adherence to the objectives of the political, economic and monetary union. One of the objectives of EU food safety policy is to protect consumers while ensuring the smooth functioning of the single market. EU legislation covers the entire food chain - "from farm to consumer" - in an integrated way and applying a "one health" approach. This desired, at the first stage, can be ensured by implementing the food safety management system - ISO 22000 and ISO 22005 which specify the basic requirements for the design and implementation of a traceability system for food and agro-food products. The given study was focused on the knowledge of the food and agro-food enterprises from the Republic of Moldova certified in this system, as well as what are the benefits but also the impediments encountered by them both during the certification period and during the activity
Recession in the economy of the Republic of Moldova
The economy of the Republic of Moldova has entered, since 2009, an economic recession, which has become deep in the last period of 2019-2021. Previously, the Republic of Moldova was severely affected by the so-called "theft of the billion" from the three state-owned banks, which caused great damage to the state economy, and also was affected by the drought of 2019-2020. The situation became instantly critical, when the whole world was affected by the virotic pandemic, caused by STAR Cov-2, the consequences of which became detrimental to the economy and social life of this state. A large number of employees lost their jobs, and part of the active population was placed in isolation and quarantine. Production and trade relations have been severely distorted and activities in the HORECA system have been suspended for a long time. The research / development system also suffered a lot, due to insufficient funding and the decrease in the volume of technology transfer works obtained under state programs, as well as cross-border projects and those funded by the European Union
The impact of research and innovation results on the development of agriculture in the Republic of Moldova
The results of the activity of the research/development sphere in the Republic of Moldova play an important role in dynamism of the sustainable development of the basic branches of the national economy: agriculture and the food industry. They contribute essentially to providing the country with agricultural raw materials and industrial processing products, sufficient for the needs of the domestic market and for export. Food security and food safety are closely related to the results of technological transfer of research and innovation results in the fields of agro biology and the food industry. The innovative cluster in these sectors of the economy of the Republic of Moldova consists of 9 biological institutes, 6 agricultural institutes and the State Agricultural University of Moldova. The present study also includes some issues of the impact of climate change and the decline of biodiversity, other challenges and risks to the development of agriculture and related branches of the country's economy
Wine complex of the Republik of Moldova and some aspects of the Covid-10 pandemic
The coronavirus pandemic has made its own adjustments in all sectors of the national economy and in the social sphere. This year's drought has also negatively impacted the agricultural sector. Viticulture and winemaking, being strategic sectors of the national economy, suffered heavy losses. The aim of this work is to study the changes in the wine-making complex of the Republic of Moldova under the influence of the pandemic and other related factors. As information sources we used the information obtained from the National Office of Vine and Wine, Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment, National Statistics Center of the Republic of Moldova, Academy of Sciences of Moldova , the daily "Logos press". As working methods were used: systemic data analysis; their mathematical-statistical processing; determining the multiple socio-economic indices that characterize the actuality of the wine complex of RM. The main results of the researches: The COVID-19 pandemic has closed practically all social entities, which sell tangible quantities of domestic wines and spirits on the domestic market; The reserves-stocks of 18 million dal of quality wines from the 2019 harvest, currently existing in the country, will satisfy the export demand in the amount of 100%; Among the existing reserves in the increase of sales of high quality wines, remarkable is the online trade, both on the domestic market, but especially on the international one
