Polyester resin Yarkopol-20 and epoxy glue ED-20, as well as grades of aluminosilicate microspheres K 500 and K150 were chosen as the binder of aluminosilicate microspheres. The obtained thermal conductivity coefficients are comparable with the thermal conductivity coefficients of materials such as fiber asbestos, wood, expanded clay concrete, etc

© 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd. A mathematical description of the gas motion in an electric discharge moving in the interelectrode gap under the action of the Lorentz force, considers in this paper. The presented model of the electric arc allows one to calculate the magnetic field acting on the charges in the discharge and to explain the occurrence of the arc shunting effect when moving along the electrodes

© 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd. On the example of plasma cutting of 1.0038 steel, the features of hydroabrasive (EPS) cleaning are shown. The basic requirements for the quality of the cut surface and a wide range of material properties due to the characteristics of the power tool are formulated. The formation of the heat-affected zone, its structure and properties, the formation of macro-and microgeometry of the cut depending on the working gas used are described. The influence of plasma cutting parameters on ensuring the necessary quality and properties of steel is considered

The advantages of plasma atomization technology in comparison with other methods of powder production for additive technologies are shown in this paper. Investigations of powders obtained by plasma atomization from welding wire sv-08G2S (similar to ER70S-6) with a diameter of 0.8 mm have been carried out. The size of the powders, their shape, chemical composition, microstructure and microhardness have been investigated
