Analyzing Usage and Effectiveness Of E-Learning Applications among Rural and Urban Students: An Empirical Study
Although Information communication technology was bound to transform teaching learning pedagogy in
developing nations, advent of Covid-19 and subsequent nation-wide lock down has acted as a catalyst for
the process. Experience from developed world has shown that Information Communication Technology
enhances learning process. In India there has always been a prevalence of dichotomy of resources between
rural and urban regions. Government of India has taken initiatives like Provision of Urban Amenities to
Rural Areas, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Deendayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana, Pradhan
Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Gar Yojana to strengthen socio economic infrastructure in rural area. Along with
this some of the State Governments like that of Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh have initiatives to promote
digital learning among students in both urban and rural areas. In this context it becomes pertinent to
analyze whether students in rural area are on par with the students in urban area to access digital learning.
This is even more relevant as nearly 65% of Indian population resides in rural areas. Our research paper
aims to suggest appropriate policy suggestions to bridge this gap, if any
American bilateral trade with emerging economies and its influence on world economic recovery post Covid-19: Analysis through VECM

Analyzing the Impact of Companies’ Investment on Skill Upgradation in Improving their Resilience amidst COVID-19
On the job training has always been viewed as an avenue to improve the production and productivity of companies. In the dynamic world that we live in on the job training and skill upgradation has become very important for all the companies to stay relevant in their domain. This holds true independent of the size of companies in question. It is more so needed in India, wherein what academia offers to our graduates is not in line with Industrial requirements. In our study we have analyzed the impact of on-the-job training and skill upgradation on company’s ability to overcome the demand shock caused by pandemic. To understand the same, we have used GARCH model to analyze the rate at which shock caused by COVID-19 subsided among large, mid, and small cap companies. Through our empirical analysis we were able to conclude that, large cap companies who were spending substantial amount on skill upgradation of their employees were able to revert to normalcy at a higher rate as compared to mid and small cap companies
Analyzing Interlinkages between Financial and Real Estate Sector in the aftermath of COVID-19's Second wave: An Econometric Approach using VECM model
Entire global economy has been adversely affected by the demand and supply shocks which
have been created due to consequent waves of Covid-19 pandemic. Indian Economy was
none the better amidst the second wave. Due to the demand and supply shocks at both
national and international level, Indian Economy witnessed an unprecedented contraction of
its Gross Domestic Product by around twenty four percent. In this context one of the few
prominent sectors which could assist in the recovery of Indian Economy is expected to be
Real Estate. Due to its inherent forward and backward linkages with infrastructure, it could
assist in faster recovery of economy through multiplier effect. In addition to that, Credit
Policy is going to play a vital role in assisting the recovery of any prominent sector. In this
backdrop, our study is an attempt to analyze as to whether Real Estate, Infrastructure and
Financial sector are co-integrated or not. Further, provided they are co-integrated, our study
tries to find out the speed of correction. Our paper through its empirical approach aims to
suggest relevant credit policy measures
Normative analysis of the impact of Covid-19 on prominent sectors of Indian economy by using ARCH Model
Covid-19 has adversely affected all the nations and all the sectors of all nations. However,
the effect of the same on all the sectors of the economy need not be uniform. Moreover, the severity
of impact need not be the same across consequent waves. Knowing the severity of the impact across
the waves as well as across the time periods shall be quite useful for the purpose of policy
formulation. ARCH modelling helps us to gauge the intensity of shocks sustained across the sectors
through heteroscedasticity which can be read as a proxy for shock. To understand the severity of
shock across the sectors, the share value of the prominent companies across the sectors have been
taken as a proxy for their performance. Evaluating the severity of shocks across the sectors shall
help the government to note which sector needs greater support so as to create conducive fiscal and
monetary initiatives to enable the economy to achieve the state of normality. This paper is designed
to bridge the aforementioned research gap
Indigenization in Education: Key to self Sufficiency and strategic Capability
Indigenization is a very broad concept. It can have various permutations and manifestations. In our present descriptive analysis, we are going to analyze indigenization through the prism of education and inculcation of values. It is to be noted that, the structure of education system in India is based on the foundations laid in colonial times. Since no radical reform has taken place in the same, it is pertinent for academia to look at the efficacy of the present educational system in meeting the needs and aspirations of present generations in particular and society at large. In addition to that, in the backdrop of leveraging demographic dividend, provides another important reason for academia to probe how relevant the western mode of education is to multilayered, multi-cultural, multilingual Indian society which has no dearth of indigenous Education system to dwell upon. Our paper, in no way criticizes western mode of education, on the other hand we try to analyze out, how relevant archaic colonial structure of education is to meet the needs and demands of Indian Society and how revamping the same can build the strategic capability of our nation
Indigenization of Indian Agriculture and Sustainable Rural Development: A Critical review of its need and Challenges
India is predominantly an agricultural nation. Agriculture is the source of livelihood security for majority of the rural population. Indian agriculture has witnessed several transformations since the beginning of planned economic development. These technological shifts have induced our farmers to adopt new technologies which are not native to our system. Majority of these technologies are imported or indigenously developed on imported ideas. Although these new technologies did help in transforming food deficit nation into food surplus nation, it seems like Green Revolution has run its course. Our paper is a descriptive attempt to trace the development of Indian agriculture along with identifying inherent structural problems it has. The final objective of the paper is not necessarily to give wholistic solutions to the problems but to discuss the issues at hand in hope of creating a conducive environment in academia for finding better solution
Impact of ICT in Enhancing Learning Experience among Rural Students in India: An Empirical Analysis
In modern world, technology plays a very important role in enhancing learning outcome among students. Many
research studies undertaken in the developed world have outlined the importance of technology in enhancing
learning outcomes. Noting the same, Indian states like Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh etc. have resorted to provide
digital devices to their students with the hope of enhancing their learning outcomes. In this context, it becomes all
the more relevant to analyze the socio economic and academic factors influencing use of technology among
students. This study analyses the factors affecting use of digital devices and their effectiveness in enhancing their
learning outcomes among rural students. The study covered 4 districts, comprising a sample size of 465
respondents to assist in optimum policy formulation for rural students in developing world
Effectiveness of Seminar and Webinar in Learning Experience: An Empirical Analysis
The purpose of this study is to analyse the effectiveness of online mode of instruction (webinar) vis-à vis offline mode of instruction (seminar) and the possible policy implications therein. This Study has
been conducted by using the primary data collected from 253 scholars ranging from students to
professors through questionnaire. Various factors were taken into consideration for investigation
based on review of literature. The results throw light on why scholars favour one mode of learning
over the other. This study has repercussions on policy implications concerning effectiveness of
distance education involving intergenerational age differences on learning outcome and experienc
