Overbarrier Resonances as Solutions of Set Inhomogeneous Schr\"{o}dinger Equations
In the paper the Schr\"odinger equation for quasibound resonance state with
complex energy is considered. The system of inhomogeneous differential
equations is obtained for the real and imaginary parts of wave function. On the
base of known solution of corresponding homogeneous equation, the inhomogeneus
system is solved with help of iteration procedure. The single-particle neutron
-state in the Woods - Saxon potential is analyzed for nucleus.Comment: 19 pages, 3 figure
Photoproduction off the nucleon revisited: Evidence for a narrow N(1688) resonance?
Revised analysis of beam asymmetry for the photoproduction on
the free proton reveals a structure at GeV. Fit of the
experimental data based on the E429 solution of the SAID partial wave analysis
suggests a narrow ( MeV) resonance. Possible candidates are
, or resonances. The result is considered in
conjunction with the recent evidence for a bump-like structure at GeV in the quasi-free photoproduction on the neutron.Comment: Contribution to the Workshop on the Physics of the Excited Nucleons

The BFKL Pomeron within Physical Renormalization Schemes and Scales
In this lecture the next-to-leading order (NLO) corrections to the QCD
Pomeron intercept obtained from the Balitsky-Fadin-Kuraev-Lipatov (BFKL)
equation are discussed. It is shown that the BFKL Pomeron intercept when
evaluated in non-Abelian physical renormalization schemes with
Brodsky-Lepage-Mackenzie (BLM) optimal scale setting does not exhibit the
serious problems encountered in the modified minimal subtraction (bar{MS})
scheme. The results obtained provide an opportunity for applications of the NLO
BFKL resummation to high-energy phenomenology.
One of such applications for virtual gamma-gamma total cross section shows a
good agreement with preliminary data at CERN LEP.Comment: Presented at XXXXV PNPI Winter School, Repino, St.Petersburg, Russia,
