    A study of basic properties of mazut coal fuels

    In article the results of theoretical and experimental researches of composition, rheological and thermophysical properties of mazut coal fuels, based on mazut M100 type и Kuznetsk lean coal are presented. Dependencies to determine dynamic viscosity at different shear rates and mass content of coal dust are obtained. Heat capacity values and thermal conductivity of mazut coal fuels are shown. The obtained results can be used at hydrodynamic parameters calculation during moving in the pipes and heat-exchange apparatus and also using the mazut coal fuels on power and transport plants

    The paper proposes a flow chart of an energy technology complex based on thermochemical processing of solid fuels with a consistent removal of separation products. The scheme is designed for the use of coal and other solid fuels, as a result of the developed methodology for modeling the processes occurring during the thermal decomposition of the organic mass. Calculations of the circuit elements show that the thermal efficiency is increased when implementing successive separation of exhaust coal products

    In work results of calculations of main units of steam -turbine mini-thermal power plants of low power: 6, 11,4, 12, 20 and 25 MW intended for work in the autonomous mode are presented. On the basis of material, thermal and the exergy balances efficiency indicators – the exergy efficiency and specific expenses of fuel are defined. With a greatest exergy efficiency at the  level of  33%  have  MW  blocks 6,  20  and  25  that testifies to  a  possibility of  effective combination of the boiler and turbine equipment of this power and also completing of technological schemes of mini-thermal power plant on the basis of the released drying and mill equipment, boilers and turbines of low power

    Evaluation of energy and resource saving effect at implementation of hybrid objects of small distributed generation in the republic of Vietnam

    The work presents the main characteristics of the most efficient solar energy technologies, including in small distributed energy. The use of hybrid technologies based on the use of solar radiation is justified. The prospects of these facilities in one of the provinces of the Republic of Viet Nam (Ninh Tuan), which is characterized by the highest intensity of solar radiation, have been determined. The results of calculation of the station with capacity of 4.6 MW, operating on the basis of use of GTU without use of solar energy and its use for heating of air entering the combustion chamber, are presented. The energy-saving effect of the introduction of hybrid technologies is due to the increase in the efficiency of the station by 6% to 10% depending on the time of year and the characteristic intensity of solar radiation and ambient temperature. A significant decrease in the consumption of fuel (natural gas) used in the gas turbine plant has been detected

    The mechanism of action and the effect of plasticizing agents on the rheological properties of the suspensions, the solid phase of which is represented monodisperse and bifractional coal dusts have been studied. The results of experimental studies of the viscosity of coal-water fuel with the content of the Kuznetsk coal brand T 60% (wt.), the fine fraction of which is 5% solids have been given. The dependence of the dynamic viscosity of coal-water fuel shear rate using different plasticizers: soda and baking soda, sodium sulphite and technical lignosulfonate have been obtained. It was found that the most effective of these plasticizers is technical lignosulfonate

    The growing demand for energy and fossil fuels creates increased number of difficulties, while renewable energy sources are still rarely used worldwide, particularly in Vietnam. In this article hybrid thermal power plants based on gas turbine plants are discussed, the increased efficiency of which is achieved by air heating after the compressor in solar air heaters. The basic design equations and the results of evaluating the efficiency and fuel consumption are presented for two thermal power plants of 4.6 MW and 11.8 MW. The dependence of the results on the intensity of solar extraction for the climatic conditions of the Ninh Thuan province of the Republic of Vietnam is discussed
